4 dog friendly dogs need out! We have taken in 12 dogs in 10 days. We have 4 kennels. The math doesn’t math.

⚠️RESCUE TRANSFERS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY⚠️Located in Elk Park, NC with transport options available. We can’t believe the story attached to each dog. A LOT OF PEOPLE NEED TO DO BETTER. Avery County NC, we have NO animal control.

⚠️We are BEYOND CAPACITY! ⚠️No more intakes! No room for anything critical! Space needed! We don't like this feeling.

1. First dog: "Sadie" RESCUE ONLY 43 Lbs Sadie is a young pregnant dog abandoned in the middle of no where. She was trapped this morning.
Sadie is dog friendly and shy. She is not aggressive.
She does not seem "super" pregnant but she's definitely pregnant.

2. Second dog: "Molly" RESCUE OR ADOPTION 53Lbs. Molly is a young spayed dog abandoned at a gas station tied to a tire pump. She is very friendly and and is used to whatever. Molly is UTD on all vaccines and due to her age may not be best fit for someone with small kids.

3. Third dog: "Roxy" RESCUE OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT (until spayed) 32 Lbs
Roxy and her 7 week old pups arrived to us last week. She weened them, then took in an orphaned puppy who wasn't hers! Great dog!!! Now done with motherhood she needs her next adventure.

4. Fourth dog: Waldo, 48 Lbs. SANCTUARY NEEDED.
Waldo was found as he was being hanged to a tree. He is VERY VERY dog friendly and finds comfort in a pack. We have many videos and photos to prove his dog friendliness. Waldo loves adults and is housebroken. He does not like to be kenneled and has permanent trauma you can see from his hanging, causing excessive drooling (but not constantly) along with the fear of being left. Waldo is a Redbone/Pit and barks like a coonie. He deserves future more than most any dog we have taken in.

All girls thrive from a spa day. Angelica’s rescuer is also a groomer and she’s doing fantastic. She only weighs 40lbs and it’s estimated she’s 30lbs underweight. Angelica is only a puppy, no more than 10 months old. Thank you Carolina Pyrenees Rescue, for taking a needy Avery County dog.

Their reply when we found out about Angelica and began the trapping process:

“I don’t have room but I’m making it now! Can you drive her to us near Charlotte the minute you trap her?”

And that’s on how to get team work to make the dream work. We are so happy for you, Angelica Underdog!! You deserve the best future of all time and it only goes up from here. You’re in the best hands possible. Make us proud out there, we hope you forget every second of life before you went into the trap.

“Hi!!!!!! Do you recognize me? I’m lost and was almost ran over SEVERAL times at the Dollar General in Elk Park! Just happened to see one of the girls who helps Scooters Underdogs and she helped me to safety at The Little Red Rescue! I’m safe now. I do have some scars on my muzzle and maybe some other medical issues. I’m not chipped but if you are my parents or know them please let them know I’m safe.”

WOOHOO!!!! Professional Mama Roxy just got finished nursing the last puppy of her life. We are dropping the “Mama” and just calling her “Roxy”🩷She’s a tiny 35lb girl and we estimate her to be 6 years old.

Located in Elk Park, NC

Roxy is just fantastic. She took in an orphaned puppy who wasn’t hers and SAVED THE PUPPY!! At both vet appointments she was everyone’s favorite. Roxy loves all dogs and people. They said,
“Roxy circled the room and stopped to say hello to every staff member.”

Also, we unintentionally made a “crying” noise in front of her and she will come sit on your chest🩷We think Roxy is housebroken but she had some accidents her first 24 hours with us, those can probably be attributed to her health at her arrival..

No longer wormy, hungry or tired, we feel she will make someone an EXCELLENT dog. She is ready for a home! Will be considered a “foster” until she’s spayed in a few weeks🐾 Message us for an application.

Sweet girl, we are so thankful you were found this morning even though you were left behind tied to a tire pump all night.

Welcome to the little red rescue❤️

Upon arrival, Molly took a very very long nap. Next she met mama Roxy and they’re already great friends🐾🐾

We had to leave to go check on the Banner Elk Great Pyrenees and got a flat tire- so if you see the rescue van on the side of the road, you bet we “flagged” her in dog rescue fashion👍 In the typical Scooter’s way, we got the flat in an area with no service. Thanks to the people who drove off for cell service to call our family😂 We didn’t get your names!

⚠️WE ARE FULL⚠️ ELK PARK, NC

We need an open kennel for a critical dog we hope to get in tonight.

Needing rescue:
3 puppies 7 weeks old, 4 Lbs each.

Transport options available. Also open to short term foster🩷Avery Humane is always willing to help the Underdogs but just like us, space is full right now. We do not know their breed mix but mama is a petite 32 lb terrier mix, photo of her posted in comments.

We got confirmation today about something we didn’t mention with Waldo,

the suspicious “bag” near his throat is from choking…

His excessive drooling is from choking…

You didn’t deserve this, Waldo. We have to find you a home soon. Where is his forever home? Waldo needs other dogs who have never been abused to show him how to feel safe. He’s housebroken and even nice to Mama Roxy and her puppies!

Tonight we welcome old mama Roxy and her 3 puppies.

Roxy was taken straight to the emergency vet for concerning medical symptoms but we got a hopeful diagnosis and luckily she does NOT have an emergency case of pyometra (infected uterus.) She’s far too old to have had so many litters of puppies😭

Tomorrow morning we take Waldo to his dogtors appointment and we will be looking to find Roxy’s 3 pups placement as soon as possible. Tomorrow we also hope to have the Banner Elk Great Pyrenees trapped. The Great Pyrenees leg is caught in a broken leash, or loose collar. He is also severely malnourished. He is absolutely considered a severe medical dog.. (video in comments)
