Better late than never with postings! But lots of responsible dog owners are being rewarded when seen. These two lucky pups were seen at the Boat Basin last night leashed and enjoying the smells! Keep up the great work!

Recent sightings of Lions Mane jellyfish have been reported along our coastline. These jellyfish can deliver a painful sting—even after washing up on shore.

⚠️ Important: Dogs are especially at risk. Curious sniffing or contact can lead to serious injury or illness.

The Town of Eliot Animal Control Officer Eliot Police Department and the Eliot Recreation Department Recreation Department have partnered together to create a 'dog club.' The idea of this club is to 'reward' those responsible dog owners who, while enjoying the parks, are seen walking their dog on leash, cleaning up after their dog, and/or have registered their dog with the town of Eliot (Eliot residents). The ACO and Recreation Department will have these weather proof stickers (of logo, see pic on mug) on hand to give out, and we will be promoting weekly members on this page! Who wants to join the club!
