Luna. I rescued Luna from Stroud Oklahoma. Despite my getting her, she was loaded on the truck to Mexico. When they asked if I wanted her brought back?….of course!!! She quarantined in Oklahoma and then made her trek across the United States to Pennsylvania. She was boarded at Dun Dreamin in Bradford. Awesome place! It was exciting bringing her home to Leo, who perked up immediately when she came home, two peas in a pod in the beginning. Luna had issues with her sinuses from the beginning. I was hoping it was just a bad tooth but getting the extraction and multiple rounds of antibiotics did not fix the problem. The tumor grew despite meds and wishful thinking. This warmer weather here was too much and it was time to set a date to cross over the rainbow bridge. She decided to do it her own way, like she lived. She crossed over the rainbow early this morning with Leo watching over her. Luna was a special girl. Whenever I was upset, she would pull me into her and hug me tight. Her face would light up and her ears come forward whenever I came near. 💜. I will miss you Luna.
