Made a trip out to the factory that will be building our VisionLED’s for a bit of QC on the components, tooling and assembly. Everything looked great! These 5 will be assembled first for final approval then materials will be ordered for full scale production!

The ArachnoSol is officially for sale! This has been well over a year in the making because we wanted to make sure we did this right!
We know offering “heat lights” for tarantulas is a delicate topic so we’ve done a mountain of research and testing to ensure we can offer heat in the form of light safely and effectively. We have an info page that covers why offering infrared A(near infrared) is beneficial for your animals and how to accomplish that safely.
These fixtures do accept standard GU10 bulbs but for convenience we do offer bulbs to purchase with power density iso-irradiance charts.
We strongly believe in this concept and will be offering a “Tarantula Lighting” group for people to discuss all things tarantula lighting and how to accomplish this even without our product, trust us there will be no product pushing in this group! We just want the hobby to progress.
A big shout out to Marshall Arachnids for supporting this concept from the beginning!

Things to come. Domes really don’t address our needs as reptile keepers. You can’t aim them to converge all light sources and you can’t raise and lower them to dial in power density.
We’d love to hear if people are interested in a product like this.

A great paper by Quentin Dishman about reptile vision! Our Vision LED is "Reptile Lamp C" proved to be very close to mid day sun to many species. This paper is a big step forward to understanding how reptiles see the world.

Big thank you to Marshall Arachnids for these amazing spiders! This one grabbed a cricket from mid air with its net when it jumped. Absolutely unreal!
