Astra is still waiting for her fur-ever home, can you believe that?! 😢 This DIVA came to our sanctuary in July, and since her summer has come to an end, it's only time that she finds a cozy human home to spend the rest of her life in! Three-legged. Blind. Deaf. Diabetic. FIV/FelV positive. Senior, or simply “a little older”. One-eyed. Black-furred and considered “bad luck”. Shy.
“Less-adoptable cats” come in many different shapes, forms, patterns. And yet, they are all beautiful. They are all lovable. They all deserve a chance at a better life.
Kitties like Gus, Paris, Benita, Sammy, and the others get overlooked every day because they are not conventionally considered “perfect”. Because one eye is hard to look at, because a black cat is bad luck, because an old cat won’t bond to a new human like a young one would, etc.
At Fat Kitty City we have seen all of these statements (and more) getting debunked by some pretty amazing cats. To celebrate , please help us give some visibility to some pretty amazing kitties, even if at first impact they don’t look “perfect” to everybody. We can assure you, they are. ❤️

❤️ Say hello to Rollie Pollie (male, grey/white) & Bobbi Cat (female, grey-tan tabby)! This dynamic duo gets more shenanigans than Batman and Robin!

⚡ Rollie Pollie is an energetic, quicksilver playful kitten who enjoys a variety of toys. His favorite hobby? When he's not chasing after Bobbi, he loves being a Nosy Nancy and stare outside the window.

💖 Bobbi Cat, on the other hand, is the perfect lap cat in the making. She works overtime at the biscuit factory, and absolutely loves attention - pets, kisses, you name it. But don't get fooled, she's not immune to the temptation of chasing after Rollie Pollie, and pouncing on him when playtime kicks in.

👪 These two 4 months-old babies are looking for a home where they can grow up and thrive together! They are both spayed/neutered and ready to go with a new, fur-ever family!

If you enjoy both funny kittens that are packed with action, and soft-hearted kittens that just want to make biscuits and get smooched between the ears, then these two will be your purr-fect match.

😻 Sammy came to us in March, and she is about 8 years old. And yet, you wouldn’t even imagine that if we didn’t tell you! Playful, cuddly, and full of loyal energy, Sammy loves following our volunteers around to get head scratches! 💕 And would you look at that luscious fur?! 😻 Meet Ollie Pop, sweet three months old kitten! Ollie Pop is currently living in Ripon. The family who found her is going to get her spayed before she goes to her new home.

🫶 Sweet Ollie Pop was found taped inside of a box at an elementary school, likely thrown over a fence, landing in the local construction zone. She had a URI that was treated with a course of antibiotic, and she’s clear now. Please refer to the photos for a more recent look of this beauty!

💕 Ollie Pop is a friendly, loving kitty, great with both kids and dogs. Unfortunately the family that is currently housing her lives with a dog who doesn’t like cats at all, and so we need to find her fur-ever home ASAP!

🚗 Transportation from Ripon to Sacramento is possible but adopter may need to be patient for that to be coordinated.
