Hello from McCall, ID Dog Gone Smart followers.

Getting some RnR isn't complete without puppy loves in my world.

I am so grateful that my friend decided to bring her pup Riggley to their vacation home for this trip.

Being someone who gets the privilege to love on so many fur babies daily in my normal day in day out life, while on vacation I quite literally stop and greet almost every dog I see......no exaggeration!! Having Riggley for the front half off this vacation has been awesome, and I'm grateful to be with girlfriends who humor me while I stop and greet every passing dog.

Dogs just make life better!!!

It's not just us lovin' on them. They love on each other also. Big buddies here, Addi giving her pal Lucy a smooch. Addi is a regular Tuesday play care pup, but is boarding right now with us. Her pals Lucy and Bear (family friends) are also boarding with us. Up next some pictures of Bear. Quite possibly the largest dog we've ever had stay at Dog Gone Smart.

Devastated doesn't quite cover it. I mean she was just here on Monday in play care. You see here at Dog Gone Smart we do a p**s poor job of keeping our hearts out of it. In fact, we fall in love with all of them. Each and every passing weighs on us and breaks our hearts, but when it's sudden and the dog is young it's a gut punch and makes us pause and wonder why.

Stella was only 5 ½ and was diagnosed a couple months ago with a rare and incurable cancer. She however was responding well to canine chemo, and seemed as though she'd be around for a while longer. She carried on as her typical feisty self in Monday play care until she started to decline this past week.

Unfortunately while being seen today in hopes of further treatment to get more time she had an irreversible neurological event and passed.

Stella, squishy face we love you so much and will miss you even more. I will especially miss my shotgun girl on Mondays. 😭😭😭

Dog Gone Smart would like to welcome big boy Bauer to Monday play care. Being a lab he was in the pool in 2 seconds flat and has been in ever since. We love you Bauer and are so happy you've joined the fun.

Dog Gone Smart would like to welcome sweet puppy head Lemon to Wednesday Play Care. She's joining her big brother Brutus every other Wednesday for some big dog fun. So far she's fit in very well with the pack and she loves the pool beach entrance.
