A recent testimony I received from two of my owners regarding their pup, Charlie:
“Dr Alyse saved our Charlie’s LIFE.
Last fall our 10 year old Miniature Schnauzer, CHARLIE suddenly started having trouble standing for any length of time, even when going to the bathroom. He did not want to do anything but sleep. We took him to a well known Veterinarian, they said that it is arthritis, he is 10 years old and there is nothing that can be done. Our neighbor said their Miniature Schnauzer was the same age and acting the same. Their Veterinarian put to sleep their beloved pet.
We were hoping to find a better answer. Because my wife and I both go to a chiropractor we thought maybe it would be a hope. We had contacted our Chiropractor and they gave a name of a veterinarian clinic, but they no longer did anything with Dogs. They did refer us to Dr Alyse LaGuardia Hall in Eau Claire WI.
Dr Alyse was very sensitive to Charlie’s needs and agreed to see him right away. After our first visit Charlie was up and walking again! With 2 visits, he started to become himself again. Her caring touch has made Charlie and us feel at ease with each visit. Charlie is once again playing, going up the stairs and doing things when he was younger. Dr Alyse has given us the best gift possible, OUR CHARLIE BACK TO US!”
I share this not to receive any sort of praise, because believe it or not, Charlie himself did the majority of the work. I, the chiropractor, only helped by removing the interference that was in the way of him expressing his puppy like demeanor. I share this because, how many other pups out there have been given the excuse of age? Just because your dog is aging does not mean he/she doesn’t have the potential to live the remainder of their life with some spunk left in their step! I hope you consider chiropractic for your pet long before signs/symptoms show up to ensure they live an active and healthy life for many years!🖤

My new website is finally live! I’ve been working hard at this. I decided 2020 is the year I am going to put myself out there more in hopes of helping more of your four-legged babies. If you have a testimonial and would like your pet to be featured, I’d be honored to add it to the site! Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me every step of the way and trusting me with your pets🖤.

When you're in time out but your best pal wont let you serve your time alone 😂🥰
This past weekend, my husband and I joined a group of chiropractors in the beautiful Puerto Rico Rainforest for a mastermind, some personal growth and some business building. What an honor it is to be apart of such an incredible group of successful people!
During our Friday morning session we dove deep into our WHY’s. We peeled away layer after layer to get to the core essence of why we do what we do. I had the privilege of partnering with someone who has been a part of my life for a long time so it was easy to get to such a vulnerable place—thank you, Pete. But I would like to take a leap of faith and share that vulnerable place with you guys.
The reason I care so much about helping these beautiful creatures is because all throughout my life, they have given me the unconditional love I haven’t always been able to give myself. It started when I was young, my Golden Retriever, Nikko, was a pillow to cry on through being bullied by my peers and not being accepted for who I was. He was there for me during the deepest darkest years of battling an eating disorder and through so many heartbreaks that come with those adolescent years. Fast forward a few years, and this girl was there for me as I navigated the heartbreak of a miscarriage and an extreme bout of anxiety. Even though I rescued her, she actually rescued me.
My WHY boils down to unconditional love. My hope is that by unconditionally loving your pet and helping to improve their quality of life, they can in turn continue to unconditionally love you during the times you may be lacking grace or love for yourself. That right there is my WHY.
I LOVE what I do with every ounce of my being and I wouldn’t trade the honor of this job for the world. Thank you for allowing me to be vulnerable with you guys. I encourage you to sit down and really dig deep for your why, it may surprise you🖤.
I thought I’d take a moment and introduce myself for anyone who may be new to following me and/or hasn’t heard my story before:
My name is Dr. Alyse LaGuardia Hall. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapist (aka an Animal Chiropractor). My grandfather, Dr. L. Joe Stucky, founded Stucky Chiropractic in Eau Claire, WI, 60 years ago. My parents, Dr. Jay LaGuardia and Dr. Pam Stucky-LaGuardia joined the practice after their graduation and helped build it into one of the largest single chiropractic clinics in the nation.
I am a native to Eau Claire, graduating from Memorial High School in 2007. After attending UW-Eau Claire, I moved to Marietta, GA, in 2011 to attend Life University’s Chiropractic School. During my first quarter of the DC program I met my husband, Dr. Eddie Hall. We got married in June of 2014 and we were accompanied across the graduation stage by my alumni parents in December of 2015. My husband and I are chiropractors 19 and 20 in my family. My grandpa used to always joke that we had no imagination🤣.
My dream was to always work with animals in some way, shape or form. Shortly after graduation, I chose to complete post-graduate work at Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, WI. The 226-hour post-graduate certification emphasized functional and clinical neurology as it pertains to both small and large animals. After graduating from the program I started my own practice, Happy Tails Chiropractic, in December of 2016. I am located inside of Stucky Chiropractic, in Eau Claire, WI. I’m excited to also announce that as of this month (January 2020), I have teamed up with Kindness Animal Hospital in Lake Hallie, WI, to offer my services there a few hours a week.
When I am not seeing patients, you can find me spending time with my husband, our 2.5 year old daughter, Kinsley Jo, and our two dogs, Monkey and V. My second passion is fitness so you can also find me teaching classes at our new fitness studio, F45 East Eau Claire, a functional training studio that my husband and I co-own alongside my sister, her fiancé and my parents.
Thank you for taking time to get to know me🖤.

I finally got the chance to watch this documentary. To say it moved me is an understatement. It's no surprise I am a firm believer in the power of chiropractic and chiropractic for animals at that, but this documentary just reminded me of its wonders.
If you are a horse lover or an animal lover, you need to take the time to watch this. It will without a doubt be the most inspiring and moving hour of your week.

When to Remove Lumps and Bumps of Your Pet
Here's a rule of thumb: if you see any lump or bump that's rapidly growing or changing, your pet should be immediately evaluated by your veterinarian.
Worldwide pet food sales have dropped $2.7 billion dollars in the last two years.
If you’re local and your pet is terrified of vet visits, I highly recommend Voyaging Vet & Tech Services, LLC. Patrice and Dr. Erin are amazing. I use them for my own pets when needed.

Instead, we have switched to diffusing and cleaning with 100% pure essential oils. We also use them on our pets. Message me if you'd like to learn more.

One of my favorite aspects of being an animal chiropractor is gaining my patients’ trust. It usually only takes a visit or two for them to realize that I’m okay and only here to help. But for patients like, Reyner, it takes a handful of visits. Gaining this guy’s trust has been one of the most rewarding success stories because those who know him know it’s not easy to accomplish. Now he gives me kisses and lets me ‘love’ on him all I want. He’s one of the reasons I love my job so stinkin’ much🐾🖤. #chiropractic #animalchiropractic #chiropractor #healthypetshappyowners
This article has some great info on nutrition and knee health. In the last two months alone I’ve had two patients who have come in complaining of hind leg lameness who I’ve referred back to their vet for evaluation and ended up needing surgery to repair. Make sure your dog’s ligaments, tendons, cartilage and tissues are properly nourished to help prevent future damage!
Contrary to popular belief, most cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) problems in dogs don’t arise from acute injuries. A lack of manganese in the diet is a major contributor. Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease in dogs arises all too frequently these days. It’s a very common reason for hind leg ...

Has your dog ever made a wheezing, sort of goose honk type of sound, almost like they’re having an asthma attack?? It’s actually called, Tracheal Collapse, and should not be taken lightly. Chiropractic, acupuncture, glucosamine and chondroitin supplements, along with anti-spasmodic treatments can help. Check out this article to learn more and to see if your dog may be prone to it—mine is!
If your dog has a persistent dry cough, it may be the first sign of this chronic, progressive disease that affects breathing and quality of life.
Did you know that soy is often used as a 'filler' in dog and cat food? Soy however, contains anti-nutrients, are very allergenic, genetically modified, and linked to several diseases. It's just as important to feed your pet high quality food as it is to feed yourself. Proper nutrients leads to better health and a better quality of life.
Big pet food is at it again, and this time they're out to convince you that this cheap filler is a great source of fiber.
