✨🇮🇳 A Once-in-a-Lifetime Send-Off for Joey 🇮🇳✨

Today we said goodbye to Joey the Labrador as he boarded a plane to India to meet his new owner — a moment 7 years in the making. ❤️‍🔥

Joey will be joining the incredible program founded by Arindam Nandy, whose vision for a world-class service dog organization is changing lives. Joey will make an extraordinary contribution to their breeding program, and I couldn’t be more honored to have played a small part in his journey.

Over the last several months, Joey has been training with me to prepare for this big adventure, and he exceeded every expectation. Through the airport, he moved with the confidence and calm of a seasoned traveler — relaxed, focused, and ready for what’s next.

Good luck in India, sweet boy.

🐾 Puppy progress update! 🐾

Leo came to me for board & train because his family was worried about some behaviors. The truth? What he was showing was totally normal puppy stuff! Still, part of growing up means learning that being held, handled, and waiting patiently are all important life skills.

Here he is at his vet visit with Dr. Cathy — calm, relaxed, and showing off everything he’s learned. 💛🐶

Goodbye, Emme 💔

Emme, a beloved dog of one of our Burning River K9 families, passed away from complications of a rare autoimmune disease.

Emme was a once-in-a-lifetime dog — devoted, joyful, and full of heart. She loved her people, lived for scentwork, and never turned down a snack. Her spirit left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her.

Our hearts go out to Mia and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Emme was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

Run free, sweet girl. 🐾

Photos from the Cleveland All Breed Training Club Scent Trial! Wren and Sadie had an amazing day, Sadie walked away with her Interior and Exterior Advanced titles and Wren finished her Novice with 8/8 qualifying scores!

Last weekend trainer Claire and her belgian malinois, Wren competed at the Youngstown all breed training club scentwork trial. Wren qualified 6/8 runs and earned a 4th place in her second interior search. Despite less than ideal conditions, Wren was a super star her first time out. 📸
