Kelly's Pet Boutique has been operating in East Lansing for over 25 years. The founder and original owner was Kelly Mae Jimmerson, hence the name Kelly’s Pet Boutique. The new owner Dannie Jay Stewart a Pet Stylist and Pet Salon owner from Los Angeles has been grooming since 1997 and worked at Kelly’s East as the grooming Manager for 7 years before purchasing and updating the salon March 1st 2017

. Our Groomers have a combined 40 years of experience grooming all breeds of dogs and cats. We are committed to providing an unprecedented level of style, safety and comfort for our pet guests and high-quality service for their owners. Any pet visiting Kelly's Pet Boutique is given premium-quality styling, scissor-finishing and attention to detail, including careful monitoring of their skin and coat condition. We are so exited to bring our Love of Pets and grooming to the westside, we invite you to come experience our facility. It's the second Saturday of the month, which means one thing - Golden Harvest day, literally the highlight of my month and the only reason I don't mind dragging my crew to work on a Saturday.
Of course we love the fur babies and grooming, but who doesn’t like to have a Saturday off . Food is like a hug for your insides, it's got all the good stuff to lift your mood, boost your energy and make you feel like a brand new person. My day was going down the drain, but this totally turned it around!

I recall the good old days of apartment hunting in Los Angeles - my husband Ted and I, both total animal lovers, and finding a place that accepted our fur babies was like finding a needle in a haystack. I figured I'd share my two cents with you if you're on the prowl for a pet-friendly pad in the other LA (Lansing Area).

I have the honor of wrestling with Jonah this morning. He was the reigning king of grump for many years at KPB, up until a few years ago, we had never charged more for a cat grooming because, let's be real, it was a miracle we survived. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever groomed him without getting bitten - it's basically a rite of passage. To say that Jonah is not a fan of mine is a gross understatement, he probably has a voodoo doll with my face on it, i’m sure some of you can relate LOL 😂

This is Duffy, my main man for a multitude of reasons, despite being a bit of a stinker sometimes. I mean, "birds of a feather flock together" is right, because I've been primping and preening him for years, and I'm obsessed with the breed - Scottish terriers are like unicorns these days. In fact, he's the only Scottish terrier that comes to our shop, so I'm guessing he'll be the last one I groom, unless some Scotty doodle owner comes knocking. But honestly, the real reason I adore him is that there's no better feeling than when an animal chooses you - and let me tell you, this boy doesn't suffer fools gladly. He's super picky about who touches him, and I'm not gonna lie, it's kind of awesome. Kelly's Pet Boutique East
