So Inspiring! God’s purpose for me, involves healing ❤️🩹 and helping others build self sufficiency! My hope is to bring peace, safety, natural medicine, holistic health & nutrition to women and children in need - while also teaching them self sufficiency and skills to support themselves without fear!
Sometimes a ministry includes teaching and learning new ways to improve on lives of those who are lost and suffering a life constantly threatening starvation, injury, illness and death. Many women and children around the world are imprisoned and being abused in their own homes, often led into trafficking because they believe they have no other choice or voice for survival!
Having a background as a federal correctional officer, a director of a domestic abuse prevention agency - I’ve met women & children running from abuse of all sorts in the United States. Our country is one of the few countries with more freedom and opportunity than any other nation in the world - and YET, there is still a great amount of suffering and oppression being felt by women, led into a life of fear, mental abuse and physical violence! We have VAWA in America, to protect women - but MOST countries have NO Rights or special protections for women and children, from abusers or government corruption! Many women and children are enslaved and still seen as mere property!
I have a BA in business, finishing my doctorate in natural medicine and have a 35yr history as a wife, mother, farmer, herbalist, farm to table chef, teacher, caregiver, and entrepreneur! As a woman, I have lived and worked a diverse background in many areas. This is an ambitious calling, when you live with a passion to help women and their families acheive self sufficient lives. I want to help to build up confidence and self worth in women, to help support thier children and make their life work - whether a spouse is in the picture or not. I want to share this knowledge, I was blessed to receive!
Sometimes we must learn new skills to make money to eat and live sustainably. The process of good health can be difficult to attain if you don’t have knowledge of what works best! We all know there are humans around the world who have nothing to eat and no place to call home. With no education and work skills to sustain themselves - or support their children & family, many remain stagnant and desperate in that lifestyle. Many women and children, will be forced to resort to prostitution and traffickers to meet their basic survival needs.
I believe God meets life needs first - from that abundance, (when we are blessed with knowledge & success), we can freely give back and pay it forward! I believe God uses us all - I would not have these skills if God didn’t have a plan for me to expand and help in a bigger way!
We are all connected and can make a huge global difference & impact in the world! I have faith that God will be using me to help in huge ways! So YES - this story was for me to hear and has greatly impacted me today! Trusting God NOW to help fund my ministry to travel worldwide to countries, to help set up safe houses and programs for women and children - I know with some help, I am able to make a REAL difference in the lives of women and children.
My ministry has begun - I call it Folklore Healing! I know I can bring this mission much further with a little help from God & people who believe in supporting the same cause - it’s time to make a bigger impact to help women become stronger and self sufficient; helping to put an end to human trafficking, worldwide!
