This is an Arabian horse endurance and sport horse farm, home of the proven endurance and sport horse stallion Summer Saga+. Though he has passed on - we are still raising foals from his line. I also offer beginner/intermediate riding lessons - including horsemanship and dressage/centered riding based riding that we then use to be better riders out on trail.

And then we have the Saga granddaughter Novella Rose++ and her stack of roses from Region 12.

She was Regional Champion in SHIH Dressage Type AND in A/HA/AA Western Dressage Level 3!!!

She was Reserve Champion in Arabian SHIH Dressage Type AATH and in A/HA/AA Dressage Fourth Level!!

And in addition she was Top 5 in
SHIH Hunter Type; Top 3 in SHIH Hunter Type AATH; Top 4 in A/HA/AA Dressage Third Level; Top 5 in A/HA/AA Dressage Third Level ATR

So she had a great show In Hand, in classical dressage and in western dressage! Woohoo!!

So I was waiting on pictures before bragging about the Saga family’s success at the Region 12 Championship Show last month.
But here goes!! The Saga daughter Mysts of Avalon+++// was Regional Champion!!!!!! In both A/HA/AA Western Dressage Level 2;
And in A/HA/AA Western Dressage Level 2 ATR!!!

She was also HA/AA SHIH Hunter Type AATH -Regional Top 5; A/HA/AA Western Dressage Level 1 -
Regional Top 4; A/HA/AA Western Dressage Level 1 ATR
- Regional Top 4

They had a grand show in a still fairly new to them discipline!!

The bandage goes down to my elbow but that is hidden behind the sling. I’m not supposed to touch it or do anything with it until I go in for my 2 week post surgery appointment. Maybe I’ll have more interesting pictures to share of the surgical repair at that point.
Super swollen today but that’s to be expected. So far, I’ve been able to keep the pain to just a deep, dull ache. Meds are a good thing.

Bonus grass for the sisters! Epic, Guardian and Roo. I opened the small field behind the house for them to eat the grass for a couple hours.

Nerve block is still working so right now I feel just fine. Ice on the arm and out helping feed horses.

Home, heading to sleep off the rest of the anesthesia. Have nerve blocks in place so no pain for now but it’s kind of wild to see my hand just flop. It just feels asleep.
