Winter is here, and the cold isn’t just for us—our furry friends feel it too! At Heavenly Pup Kennels, we want every paw and tail to stay happy, healthy, and warm this season.

🌨️ Cold Weather Paw Protection Tips 🐾

🐶 Dog Boots – Soft, insulated boots protect paws from ice, snow, and road salt.

🧴 Paw Balm/Wax – Keeps paw pads soft, prevents cracking, and acts as a barrier against cold.

🧹 Clean Paws – Wipe off salt and snow after walks—no icy surprises!

✂️ Trim Hair Between Pads – Prevents ice balls from forming between toes.

🧥 Dress for Success

Coats and sweaters for small or short-haired pups keep them warm and stylish!

⏱️ Limit Outdoor Time

Short, frequent walks are better than long exposures in freezing temps.

⚠️ Watch for Warning Signs

Shivering, lifting paws, or hesitating to move = time to come in and warm up.
