Thank you everyone! Foster has been found!

We had a baby kitten come in last evening that needs a bottle foster. We have an intake hold but this (ONE) tiny little thing would not have survived the night had someone not picked it up as it had been crying non stop for hours with no mother insite or expected.
I can not care for this baby as my husband was admitted to Iowa City Hospitals a day ago and I need to be with him and can not take a kitten with me. If you are able to foster this little one asap please reach out to me at 563-451-5399 and we will get you set up this morning with this little girl.

Just picked up a cat on Prescott st. here in Dubuque, we got a call about a cat in respiratory distress under someones car, within' minutes we were there and that cat had already been run over by the car parked over it. There is NO way anyone could drive away not knowing they ran over something. This is extremely distressful.
This cat is microchipped and has a flea collar on it, the microchip is not registered and it is not our microchip. Extremely sad. please contact us if you have seen a white cat with a few dark grey markings that has a white flea collar on it. You put a collar on an animal and feed it, it is your responsibility especially when it is microchipped. We will call and get the first registration on this cat so if you know something, say something because their life matters too!!!

We need a pick up in Dyersville back to Dubuque this afternoon if anyone has free time? It is for three older kittens.

A calico cat came up to me in desperate need of help one day, she was in full mastitis so I took her home (Personally), I then took her to our vet and got her help, after this I found her people and they said she recently had kittens but they could not find them, so we helped her and then we vaccinated her and spayed and microchipped her. I personally kept her for three weeks until she was healthy and then took her back to the people who said she was theirs and they absolutely wanted her back, so being the compassionate rescue we are we gave her back, because she has two 6 week old kittens but she got out again and when I found out where she was I called and asked for her return but they refused and now they have her listed as a stray. This is unacceptable. My heart is broken and also tired of being a long time rescue here and walked on every step we take.

Please keep all your remarks about euthanization off this post or you will be removed as we give EVERYONE a fighting chance.

Little Abel was found by someone who says he was ran over by a car, but the wounds do not justify this as he had several bite wounds and magots on him and no broken bones. It looks as if he were bitten by something and shaken.
Abel was paralyzed from the waist down and unable to express his bladder, he also needs to wear diapers. One of our vets refuses to put him down as he is amazing and loving and precious. We are looking for someone who has experience and would be willing to care for this little 10 week old man. everything covered by Whispurring Hope Rescue & Rehab. You would need to express his bladder and change his diapers as needed as he can not sit in a dirty diaper for very long at all. Once you meet him your heart will melt. Also the vet has contacted us that he is actually starting to move his back legs a little, this is a tiny miracle boy waiting for a BIG miracle to happen.
