Train for the ribbon if you want a trophy. Train for the horse if you want a legacy.

This weekend wasn't really about the scores.
Yes, there were matching personal best scores.
Absolutely solid placings.
A beautiful bridleless run.
Someone stepping back into the show pen after a long break from starting a new chapter of life.
Goals reached. 🙌🏽
Confidence gained. 💓

But that's not what made me the happiest.

What I'll remember is watching every one of my clients walk into the arena with respect and love for their horse.

Calm hands. Thoughtful decisions. Partnership over force.

In a world where it's easy to chase results at any cost, they proved something again I've always believed...

You don't have to sacrifice kindness to be highly competitive.

The trophies will eventually collect dust.
The scores will one day be forgotten.

But the horse will remember how you made them feel.

Watching horses and riders grow together, trust one another, and become better partners—that's the kind of success that lasts far beyond a weekend.

I couldn't be more proud of every one of you. Thank you for trusting me with your journey. It is an incredible privilege to watch you and your horses grow together.

At the end of the day, the greatest prize isn't the trophy—it's earning the trust of the horse beneath you. ❤️

For me Success isn't just creating winning horses. It's creating horses that still trust people when the competition is over..

Dating a horse girl...Just a heads up...

She voluntarily climbs on the back of a 1,200-pound prey animal that occasionally decides the safest response to a plastic bag is total chaos.

She's been kicked, bucked off, stepped on, covered in dirt, rained on, frozen, sunburned, and somehow still calls it "a great day."

She has the patience to spend months teaching one maneuver, the determination to get back on after hitting the ground and the ability to solve problems under pressure without panicking.

So if she seems a little stubborn...
It's probably because she spends her free time negotiating with an animal that's stronger than a truck and has the attention span of a squirrel.

But if she loves you, you'll have someone who is fiercely loyal, hardworking, resilient, and willing to show up every single day—even when it's difficult.

Dating a horse girl isn't for the faint of heart... but it's one heck of an adventure.

Word to the wise... before you pick a fight, remember to proceed with caution... she already won an argument with a 1,200-pound animal today.🤣

Nothing phased this girl, not even the flamingos lol she just casually strolled onto the tarp to get a nice drink of water. 😅👍🏼
