1st Monday night SUAC Membership Meetin

gs @ 6:30pm Enoch Davis Center, St Petersburg, FL:
Meetings open to the public, free to attend. There is a featured speaker at each meeting, networking, opportunities to get involved in local projects, and Q&A time to learn about resources, brush up on your garden knowledge. These meetings are a great chance to meet and socialize with others in the area who are excited about urban agriculture and organic edible gardening! We often include a silent auction, so sign up to receive notices, and bring items to share at the plant auction. Events & Activities
We gather to visit local gardens, take road trips to view educational and informative edible gardens, help create edible gardens all over Pinellas, and more.

Another great SUAC Ag Ed meeting!

Thank you to our guest speakers; Veronika with USF St. Petersburg, Jennifer with Florida Department of Health (DOH), Jessica with City of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Bill Bilodeau!

Coalition of Community Gardens also honored several SUAC members for more than 10 years of community garden service. Albert Risemberg, Maria Spagmati, and past & current SUAC Presidents Bill Bilodeau and Lisa Pineda. SUAC Secretary Rev. Bob Murphy announced the honorees.

Several honorees were not in attendance this evening to receive their awards: Ava Johnson & Anna Scott.

Congratulations to all recipients!

See you at the next Ag Ed Meeting on July 3rd for our Inaugural Food Independence Day to align with the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

We will share and discuss various summer crops like Okra, Watermelon & Eggplants and encourage attendees to bring a dish prepared with Florida Grown produce!

Tampa Bay Community Salad Drop Off!!!

Friday 2/13 from 12-5pm at Daystar Life

We will be taking all garden veg donations during this time. We will also wash & prep for the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival, the following day.

When harvesting, please try to pick one (1) main ingredient like tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, radishes, romaine, spinach, etc to represent your garden/farm. We are trying to get all donations by 5pm Friday 1/13, but if for any reason you would need to drop outside of those hours, let us know!

A few people have messaged and called and, YES! We will be gathering at Enoch Davis Center in St. Pete TONIGHT, Friday 12/5, for our annual Holiday Potluck with a side of gardening knowledge.
