This momma had her babies yesterday! 6 healthy kittens. We were able to take her off of the streets and into foster only 8 days ago. If you’re looking for a kitten dm us, once they are old enough to be separated they will need homes.

Hey guys, I’m reaching out and asking for help. My baby Theo has a urinary obstruction and needs to be hospitalized immediately and im lacking the funds. I’m needing to raise $3,000 to cover hospitalization fees and other expenses. Cash is tight at the moment due to paying out of pocket often for my foster animals. We found Miss ketchup at a gas station 13 days ago. She had a pretty bad wound on her leg.
She’s been living her best life with us. Healing up after stitches, and updated vaccines. Her hoomans were found today and she gets to go home for Christmas. 🏠 🎄

Update: Squintz will sadly be needing both eyes removed. 🙏

Our sweet Squintz is headed to see an eye specialist next Friday. She’ll need surgery, and afterward, she’ll be looking for a loving forever home. Life is tough when you can only see what’s right in front of you, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being the sweetest little fighter.

Most cats come to us because they truly need us. Some arrive past the point of saving, but we still try, because every one of them deserves a chance.

It’s hard to say goodbye, especially to those we lose, but for the ones who can be saved, like Squintz, we’ll do everything we can.

✨ We’re bursting at the seams!
Right now, I’m fostering 15 kittens and 1 momma cat through rescue—and let me tell you, that’s a LOT of tiny paws, hungry mouths, and… 💩 litter boxes!

We’ve also recently welcomed a couple of new faces into the foster crew, and have several snuggly kitties who are soaking up all the love they can get. It’s busy, messy, and totally worth it—but we’re going through supplies fast.

Our biggest needs right now are litter and cat food. We’ve also listed other helpful supplies like formula, toys, and cleaning products on our Amazon Wishlist. Every bit helps us keep these babies clean, full, and healthy! 🐾

The Reality of Being a Neonatal Foster

This week, we lost two precious lives — Pierce and Veil, a brother and sister pair around 8 weeks old — to panleukopenia.

They were originally being fostered by a dear friend with Whiskers Rescue, and when they fell ill, I took them in to provide intensive care in hopes of saving them. We did everything we could: subcutaneous fluids, vitamin B injections, oral supplements, and multiple medications to manage the symptoms.

Despite all our efforts, the virus was just too aggressive. In the end, it was most likely anorexia and hypothermia that took them. They passed away within a couple of days of diagnosis.

This is the heartbreaking side of fostering — the side no one ever wants to talk about. Sometimes, love and medicine just aren’t enough. But even in their short time, Pierce and Veil were deeply loved, and they didn’t leave this world alone.

Fly high, little ones. You mattered. 💔
