Congratulations Graduates!!! Willow and Magnus have worked hard with their families to learn basic cues and good manners. These two loved coming each week to say hello to each other and all the family member that came to class. Magnus and Willow worked hard to learn cues such as sit, sit/stay, down, come, drop it, and so much more. I look forward to hearing wonderful updates about Willow and Magnus in the coming years. Congratulations to Molly and Lily, our recent graduates!! They have come such a long way over the course of training classes. They have learned basic cues such as Sit, Stay, Down, and Come. They have also learned good manners such as no jumping and no pulling on a leash. The biggest change we saw in these two came in play time...one was very ready to play, the other not so much. It took time but they decided to start to play with each other. I wish these two so much success in continuing to practice training and in play time. These two were lucky to know each other outside of group classes . Now hopefully they will continue their bond and see each other often. Congratulations Lily and Molly!!! Happy Graduation!!!

Congratulations Graduates!! A long time coming, these pups graduated just before the holidays. From two different classes, these pups were so fun to work with and watch grow during class. Gemma, Lumi, Nellie, Huey, and Piper all worked so hard with their families to learn new cues and good manners. I look forward to watching these puppies continue to learn and grow over many years to come!! Congratulations to ALL our graduates; Gemma, Lumi, Nellie, Huey, and Piper!!! Keep up the awesome training!

Congratulations to our recent puppy class graduates!!! Oliver (not pictured), Holly and Sammie have learned so much over the last couple months. They have worked with their families to learn sit, sit/stay, come, loose leash walking, heel, and down. Sammie, Oliver and Holly have become great play mates and friends. It was a pleasure having all three in class. I look forward to watching these pups grow as they come into Downers Grove Animal Hospital for their Wellness visits. Congratulations Ginger!!! Ginger recently finished lessons to learn good manners and basic cues. Ginger has worked hard with her family to learn skills such as being comfortable with grooming, sit politely for petting, sit/stay at doorways, come when called, walking nicely on a leash, and so much more. Congratulations to Ginger and her family! I look forward to seeing Ginger in the years to come!! Happy Training!

Congratulations Gus and Clover!!! Happy Graduation!! With the help of their families, they learned basic cues and good manners. Enroll now!!! New class will begin Tuesday September 17th. The class is a 6 week course and is held at Downers Grove Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic. The class meets in the evening, 7:30 - 8:30pm. The class will discuss cues such as sit, sit/stay, down, leave it, drop it and more. We also discuss problem solving for common puppy behaviors such as leash walking, mouthing/nipping, jumping, potty traing and so much more. Call Meghan, our trainer to register today! Congratulations Peaches and Zara!!! Zara and Peaches just finished group class together!!! We had a lot of fun watching these girls learn and play. They worked hard with their families to learn new cues and manners. I look forward to hearing many great updates in the years to come. Happy Training and Congratulations!!!

Several times a year, the Arboretum hosts "Dog Admission Days" and "Tails on the Trails" events. These are the only times that non-service dogs are allowed in cars or on the grounds of the Arboretum.
