Goats of Sage

Goats of Sage Following the life of the Sage Farm goats- Butterscotch, Rocky, Oreo, and Caramel. All of them are Nigerian Dwarf goats and live at Sage Farm riding.

They love hanging out with people and go on several hikes per week.

Sad to announce that Butterscotch, despite Tuft's large Animal Hospital's best efforts, passed away overnight at the age of 7. We at least visited him yesterday in Grafton prior to his passing. He had a good life after we acquired him off Craig's List from a teen who had raised him as a 4H project, and he joined the herd (always the middle child) with big brother Rocky, and little sisters, Caramel and Oreo, going on hikes in Hale, getting treats, head-bashing with Rocky. The photos are from 2018, but he will always be the cute little guy pictured here for us.

Caramel doesn’t quite catch the concept of going for a hike (or maybe she does). Dan definitely got his workout today (her little legs just couldn’t make it up the hill and she was very sad that the others went up around the bend (she was very happy to be reunited)
