I will Boop the Snoot out of anything that'll let me do it!!! Allow me to introduce myself with some back story.

For those unaware, I'm Matty, the fella behind the camera of this operation. What lead me to creating an eagerness for photographing pets was the love that I had for my own. Matter of fact, this profile pic of this page is of Eli the Pooch, our amazing little bucket of love who happens to be my favorite tripod.

In 2014/2015 I began to dabble with photography while working with the surrounding landscapes that I live within and instantly fell in love with a craft that would forever change my life.

At that time I had an elder dog, named Lincoln Abraham who was my everything in a best friend. He was suffering from skin conditions and cancer eventually ended his long 13 or 14 year life of great times in 2018. I went everywhere with that pooch. He had friends even I was unaware of. What a duder.

It was hard on me as it would be anyone who had lost a soul who was a part of their every day's adventures for that long. What I realized then was I wish I had taken more photos of him. I had countless in my outdated phones, but I always wished I had a really nice portrait of him.

Fast forward to 2019 I had gotten very serious about this craft and was considering to go all in on building a business with the skills I had developed. Throughout the beginning years I tried a lot of different things in multiple industries with cameras and it eventually led me to working with pets. I still do many other things with my photography work, but the pet world is what tugs at my heart most.

The end of 2025 is here. I launched Boop Snoot Photoshoot in 2022/2023 and since then have found the thing that drives me most behind the camera. This was the thing that called to me throughout my developing years. This was the work that I found to be most rewarding in ways that I couldn't imagine.

In the end of 2023-2024 and up until a couple of months ago, I was pushing through some debilitating back injuries and had to put all of this on the back burner. For 9-10 months of this year I didn't take on a single job. In recent months my meds were adjusted and I've been in good enough shape to pick this back up and run with it within my limited abilities until my body tells me otherwise.

And THAT, my friends is why I'm really excited about the events we have in 10 days. I get to photograph a whole bunch of dogs with Santa and it's going to be so much fun!!

So there's a bit about me, but enough about me, these are some goats that our amazing friend and Veterinarian doctor Shannon Emmons owns and loves dearly. I'm in a beard growing competition with this one!

We've got 13 sessions left to be filled!!

I'm beyond moved at the anticipation flowing out of those who have signed up already. People have told me about the silly things they're bringing for their pets and it's adorable!

This past weekend I was working on restoring the paint on our little Radio Flyer wagon, and this week is planned for building some creative photography props to be used during the sessions.

With only 11 days until the first event, I have a goal of filling these available spots and am determined to do so!

Giddy up, folks let's have some fun with this!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you all!!

Today I'm grateful for YOU, and your support. I'm thankful for the amazing things that have come our way for the upcoming events. I'm amazed by the amount of shares, tags, and mentions that have you fine people have done.

I have an immeasurable amount of gratitude for this life!

I'm spending the morning restoring the paint on this super awesome Radio Flyer Wagon that we'll be using as a prop during our Sessions with Santa in December. Then I'm off to visit with friends and relax the night away.

UPDATED: Between last night and this afternoon 3 more sessions booked!!

14 are left between the two days! If you're considering it, get on board, folks!

We've got and hound, a crazy mix, 5 pitties, Great Dane, Cattle Dog, Malinois St Bernard mix, Pug, and 2 Aussies coming!!

All dogs so far. Last time I photographed a couple of cats together, and 3 bunnies at the same time! With this many spots to fill left, I can't imagine what will come through next!

Today I visited 6 local pet related businesses in Dover to introduce myself and to drop flyers off for the upcoming events in December!!

The backdrops have arrived, folks!!
Who's coming down to party with Santa and I in a few weeks?!!

Props we've got to spice it up this year....

-2 beautiful matching Santa chairs
-2 differing 10ft x 8ft backdrops to choose from.
-Radio Flyer Wagon
-Two xmas trees for additional depth to one of the scenes. And another one for the other scene
-3 wreaths, garland, and lights for the white backdrop
-Faux wrapped presents to match the scenes
-Handmade holiday props to have fun with

Our companions, our best friends, our guardians, our family. There are many titles that our pets wear proudly. There are many places that they hold in our hearts.

We are more than fortunate to have a pet's soul align with our own in the ways that they do. These furry little friends wiggle their ways into the most comfortable of places nestled deep within our love.

With a little "Dash" of luck they've found their ways into our homes, our hearts, and our lives through whatever channels they have to travel in order to be with us. It's our duty to honor them in their journey in whatever way we can, and that usually comes in the forms of many snackos!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!

This is Sophie.

She was my most favorite visitor to last year's event for personal reasons. This lovely, gentle, and sweet lil girl meant the world to a neighbor friend of ours. When I saw that she had arrived to have her portrait taken with Santa, it had made the entire day worth so much more to me on an emotional level. It was the most beautiful part of the day.

It's the moments like those which have fulfilled me the most in my photography journey. Those are the times which make me realize that what I do leaves an impression on the hearts of many that will last for years to come.

This portrait thing matters a lot to people when I find they seem to need it most, and that is all the reason in the world for me to want to engage with this on a more deeper level going forward.

These connections are important to us and through photography I will continue to honor these little beings in the ways that I know best.

I'm excited for the year ahead as I know many of you are.

Thank you to all who have supported my journey so far, you're appreciated in ways that words have a hard time expressing.
