Just a reminder that Ed’s celebration of life will be tomorrow (Saturday) from 2–4 PM at the American Legion, 19 Choctaw St. in Laurens, SC.

There will be a service followed by time to visit and share memories with light food and refreshments.

We would love for you to join us in honoring and remembering him.

We will be celebrating Ed's life in two locations that were meaningful to him.

In Florida, we will be holding a Celebration of Life for close family and dear friends. Details will be shared shortly.

In South Carolina we will be holding a public Celebration of Life:
Place: American Legion Post 25, 19 Choctaw St., Laurens, SC 29630
Date: March 28th, 2026
Time: Service will begin at 2:00 PM

Following the service, please join us for appetizers and refreshments as we share memories, stories, and the kind of fellowship Ed always appreciated.

Ed proudly served his country and carried that same spirit of loyalty, generosity, and strength into every part of his life. We look forward to honoring him together.

Thank you all for continuing to support our family during this time. Your prayers and kindness mean more than you know.

**This song meant a great deal to Ed after losing his daughter, Erin. It reminded him of the hope of Heaven and the promise that every tear will be wiped away.
We share it in remembrance of him.

It is with heavy hearts that we share that the founder of Shady Creek Bee Farm, my beloved husband, Ed Coleman, has passed away unexpectedly this week. He loved his family, the Lord, this country, and his bees.

Many of you knew him not just as a beekeeper, but as a friend, a mentor and someone who truly loved sharing his knowledge and passion for bees. He took great pride in providing strong, healthy hives and quality honey to the community.

We are incredibly grateful for your support over the years.

Shady Creek Bee Farm will continue operating as we work through this season. All nuc orders currently placed (or needing to be placed) WILL BE FULFILLED just as planned.
