As the weather changes, our horse-care routines change too. The days may be cooler, but regular grooming and paying attention to your horse's skin and coat still matter.

There's a lot of work that goes into building something from the ground up. Some days are exciting, and other days you're doing the same little tasks over and over, hoping they'll eventually add up to something bigger. I'm learning to be faithful in the small things, whether that's caring for my horse, working on Still Waters, or chasing the goals God has put on my heart. Working toward a dream means showing up even when
nobody sees the work.

Here's to doing today's work well and trusting God with the outcome.

Don't just put your horse away after a hard workout.

The run may be over, but my horse-care routine isn't. After a hard workout, I want to make sure she's clean, cooled down and comfortable before calling it a day.

That's why having a consistent routine matters.

Why does Still Waters focus so much on plant-based ingredients?

Natural doesn't have to mean complicated.
When I started Still Waters, I wanted horse-care products built around ingredients I felt good about using as part of my horses' regular care. That doesn't mean "natural" is automatically better. It means I care about what goes into the products I'm putting on my own horses.

And that's a standard I want to keep.

Before I start a full bath, I like to take a minute and look at the horse first:

☑️ How dirty are they actually?
☑️ Are there areas that need extra attention?
☑️ What does their coat and skin look like today?

Then I choose the products that make sense for that particular wash.
