Good morning, Neighbor!

I'm using my favorite local eggs from Haven Acres Regenerative Farmstead to make French Omelets. I still have a lot of practicing to do as it's technique is a little tricky and I broke it while rolling. Still custardy in the middle and very yummy.

Celebrating getting Daphne home after a lengthy stay in the NICU with a Strawberry Lemon Pavlova. Neighbor!

So excited to have her here and to get back in the kitchen after MANY months off.

I made an Angel Food Cake with poached Rhubarb and Sumo Citrus and it turned out pretty dang tasty!

This is only the second angel food cake I've made and am determined to perfect it. First attempt was WAY too over baked and this one was a tad under in some parts in the middle. Adding lemon zest this go round was definitely the right call, though.

Once I've got it down, I'll share the recipe!

Harv wanted to make our own homemade suckers, so we made 'em and they're pretty dang good! I love that he likes to be adventurous in the kitchen just like his momma.
