Every dog has their own ideas about what they’re supposed to be doing! 😂 Maybe they think they’re the neighborhood security guard, a professional squirrel hunter, or the world’s best lap dog.

Lady would tell you bath time is definitely not her favorite activity. Even though she'd rather be anywhere else, she stayed calm, cooperative, and well-mannered throughout her bath.
Training isn't just about teaching fun tricks, it's about helping your dog handle everyday situations with confidence, even the ones they don't enjoy.

Roman is learning a very practical new skill, retrieving objects on command!
Today, we're using a pen, but this behavior can be transferred to many everyday items. Teaching a dog to pick up and deliver objects isn't just a fun trick, it builds confidence, strengthens communication, and can become incredibly useful in daily life.
Great job, Roman (and Kendall for teaching him!)! 👏

🚪Can your dog wait at the door?

A dog that bolts through every open door can be a safety concern.
Teach your dog that an open door doesn't mean "GO!"
Try this:
🐾 Ask for a sit before opening the door.
🐾 Crack the door open. If your dog gets up, calmly close it.
🐾 Open it again only when they remain seated.
🐾 Release them with a cue like "OK! or FREE!" when it's their turn.

A few minutes of practice each day can build patience, impulse control, and help keep your dog safe.
