Button quail chicks sleep so deeply and flatly that they look 100% dead. Every keeper has panicked, only for the chick to suddenly "popcorn" up a second later, looking at you like you're the crazy one.

🚀 The Coturnix Quail Secret: The Space Pioneers
You might think of mice or monkeys when you think of space animals, but Coturnix quail are literal trailblazers. In 1990, Soviet cosmonauts brought Coturnix eggs aboard the Mir Space Station.
