Denver Design Studio is the studio of Ashley Legler, calligrapher, letterer and graphic designer, specializing in weddings, private commissions, and small business branding and logos. Ashley was introduced to calligraphy at the age of nine and has been fascinated by this challenging craft and different writte

n forms ever since. She received her master’s degree from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2009, and founded Denver Design Studio in 2012. With over 20-years’ experience, she has worked in a variety of design fields and enjoys the interconnectivity between them all. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Colorado Calligraphers’ Guild, the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) and the Society of Typographic Aficionados (SoTA). She is actively involved in local chapters of the Junior League and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Some of her favorite things include cats, history, mashed potatoes, the Clash and Dr. Pepper-flavored Lip Smacker. She and her husband, Jason, were married in Paris in 2014, and they live in a mid-century modern house in Denver with their five cats.
