Frozen Green Apple Yogurt Bites for Dogs

Ingredients
1 green apple (peeled, cored, and chopped – no seeds)
1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
1/4 cup water

Supplements (optional)
1/4 tsp spirulina powder (for extra antioxidants and minerals)

Instructions

1. Peel, core, and chop the green apple into small chunks.
2. Add apple, yogurt, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
3. Stir in spirulina powder if using.
4. Pour the mixture into mini bone-shaped silicone molds.
5. Freeze for at least 3–4 hours or until fully set.
6. Pop out and serve frozen.

Storage
Keep frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 months.

For obvious reasons, community cats (feral or stray) may not allow themselves to be brought inside (even if we wanted to/could). But when the temperature gets above 90° F & there is no breeze/air moving, I have taken an oscillating fan out for our outside kitties. They seem to appreciate my effort, but overall, they seem happier lying under an azalea bush on the cool dirt. 😽 Just make sure they have plenty ofcclean, cool water (ice cubes help). For bigger, longer lasting "ice cubes," I've made small water balloons & frozen them to put in large water bowls. 😸🔥🌞🔥
