Golden Turmeric Paste for Dogs
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup turmeric powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for anti-inflammatory benefits)
Supplements
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil (optional, for omega-3 fatty acids)
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, combine turmeric powder and water. Stir over low heat for about 7-10 minutes until a thick paste forms.
2. Add coconut oil, black pepper, and cinnamon (if using). Stir well until fully incorporated.
3. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add flaxseed oil if using and mix thoroughly.
4. Transfer the paste to a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
Storage
Keep refrigerated in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks.

Let’s practice more acceptance.

Acceptance doesn’t mean you can’t still work toward your long-term behavior goals for your dog. It just means you’ll spend less time ruminating and loosen your grip on the expectations you had for them.

When you do that, you’ll start to see your dog for the beautiful, unique, and perfect being they already are.

It’s an important lesson for life with dogs and for us in general, especially these days.
