10 years ago, my friend took this pic of me walking my dogs in Bergen Park. Everyone we passed by, would ask if I was a dog walker, and while that probably would sound better than saying “no, they’re all mine😅” it was the truth❤️ I love dogs beyond comprehension, but I also love all animals in general. Hence why my whole university schooling was centered around pre-vet/animal science. It’s also why I spent 20 years of my life as a veterinary technician, working in grooming salons, and pet sitting during my down time. And while I enjoyed a long career in vet med, my real passion has always been in husbandry and the other side of animal care-the fun, cuddling, hiking, enrichment side of pet care. Looking back at this photo now, while on crutches for the next couple months, it seemed this was always to be my path in life. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your most precious things in life-your pets and your homes! Can’t wait to start walking with all my besties again soon🥰
