Big announcement! Hello all! Meet Gamble. He is the newest addition to the Dogs By Jax crew!

Gamble is about 7 months old and will be staying with me for several months training as a service dog prospect. Once he is in a great place with his training I will put feelers out to find him his working partner. Right now, he’s just working on being a puppy!

Gamble is a sweet, curious, and goofy guy who loves to please and eat snacks. I have high hopes for this dude and I hope you’ll stick around to see his progress! There is a wishlist link in my bio if you want to help with Gamble’s journey!

Congratulations to Pat and Wrigley for passing AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Test today! Wrigley always brings a smile to my face so I know she’s gonna be a rockstar therapy dog. Step 1 complete!

I am so grateful to have such wonderful clients! I have worked with Pat, Katy, and Wrigley for quite some time, and it just warms my heart to see them doing so well.

Did another presentation for BSW’s Institution for Rehabilitation today! It was so nice to share information on working dogs and get to connect with patients. So grateful for this awesome opportunity! Jarvis got to show off a bit, too, which is always fun for him. Thank you to BSW and my client, Shannon, for having us out!

Jarvis was an absolute trooper today! We were headed to a client’s house in Dallas, and when I stopped for gas my car battery decided it was done.

This was a 4 hour issue involving waiting, confusing communication with roadside assistance, walking to autozone, carrying a battery back, and waiting some more, but we’re finally home. Luckily it was only in the high 80s today so we didn’t completely melt. And, of course, Jarvi was wagging the whole time we were in autozone ‘cause he was just happy to be there.

Jarvis, Pippin, and Wiley had a pool party today! It was our first of the summer, and I hope to have more! The boys played in the water, bobbed for toys, and got a frozen lick mat snack when they were finished outside.

Did a little feature on one of my favorite pups, Marley! It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working with/boarding this little lady for so long! In September it will be 2 years of having Marley in my life.
