Texas Sporting Breed Rescue Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc. (TSBR), is a State of Texas non-profit corporation.

It all started with a dream that we could see a no-kill society in our lifetime and that one of the biggest hunting and outdoor enthusiast states in the US would embrace its Sporting Breeds and support our efforts in saving them. Driven by these hopes and founded by a group of dedicated volunteers, we set out on the "Mission" of Texas Sporting Breed Rescue.

That’s how long Bee (aka Sister) waited in foster care for her forever family.

Three years of hoping.
Three years of waiting.
Three years before the right person came along.

Today, Bee is living her BEST life. ❤️

She’s joining her people on adventures, riding in her bike trailer around town, hanging out on restaurant patios, exploring new places, and soaking up every moment of the life she waited so patiently to find.

This is why rescue matters.

Not every dog’s story ends overnight. Some need more time. More care. More patience. More people willing to believe they are worth the wait.

She doesn’t know that she was born with a congenital heart defect called tricuspid valve dysplasia.

She doesn’t know how many people have rallied behind her, donated on her behalf, or cheered her on.

What Belle does know is that she is loved.

This is the final weekend of North Texas Gives to Animals, and dogs like Belle are the reason we do what we do.

Rescue isn’t just about finding homes. It’s about saying “yes” when a dog needs medical care, treatment, time, and hope.
