TEEFS! And look and how comfortable this sweet boy is. I drained his arm and this morning it was scabbed up nicely! I told him id brag about him leaving it alone so it could heal. He's quickly becoming so special to me. ❤️ He actually semi opened his mouth at me when I took him out! His instincts are slowly coming back. 🥰

Had a beautiful old lady visit me at work, upon inspecting her, I found a patch of worms on her. 🪱 I contacted my turtle expert and he told me if they were flys they'd drown when she swims, but these weren't flys...so he told me to just clean them off, then let her go because she was probably wanting to lay eggs. They were really hard to get off, but I did and she happily dove back into her pond!

Same vibe. Im cleaning their tent and these three siblings are ridiculous. They will probably be with me a while because one has developed MBD (MetabolicBoneDisease) . I've never had this issue, but after observing him, I see why. Little stinker was only eating the protein. His siblings would clean up the veggies and yogurt, but he would steal any protein. So...back to puree and special formula it is. Im treating them all even though they all don't show the signs just to be on the safe side. It helps they are all tame...which is another issue I'll have to work on, too. *sigh*

A poss this size should be showing me his teeth...especially a wild poss. He doesn't move when he hears sounds or even flinch. It tells me he'd given up. He was ready to die. 💔 I've pulled lots of little asphalt rocks out of his fur and skin. He's starting to show signs of improvement though! He's sitting up, he's not wanting to be tubed, he fights me with his tongue. 🤣 and he's starting to curl up like he's comfortable. Baby steps. Im going to see if he'll eat on his own next feed. ❤️

New intake...sweet boy looks like he survived being hit by a car a while back. He has dried old road rash on his head and arms. I've started liquids and antibiotics and once he's feeling better, ill give him a bath. Rest and warmth. 🙏

Sweet baby is so weak and dehydrated and very obviously was in something's mouth. I didn't think she'd make it through the night, but she's hanging on. She had been eating dirt trying to survive. 💔 she's in the incubator, on antibiotics, and being hydrated. Praying for this sweet one. 🙏

Racc**ns are hard work, they aren't silent baby's like squirrels, opossums, or even skunks...they are screamers. 🤣 Momma poss of judgement often reminds me. They think they are hungry 24-7. It's super easy to overfeed a c**n, but you have to be careful. They have the sharpest nails, they all try to get out at once. It's truly a circus. 🤣 BUT JUST LOOK AT THIS FACE! LOOK AT IT! Momma poss may not agree with me, but it's worth it. ❤️
