ADOPTED FROM THE POUND
Hiya! I am a friendly, energetic black lab mix with big feet and a long skinny tail and I was wearing a blue collar with a blue clip attached to it. The humans here think maybe I busted loose and my owners are looking for me! I was found at 1515 North Davison Street on Sun 9/1
I am an older male puppy with white feet and a really sweet face...see? If you know where I belong, please come get me by calling the Mitchell PD at 605-995-8400. If I am not claimed by Friday, September 6 I will be up for adoption from the Lakeview Veterinary Clinic by calling 605-996-3242. I am bouncing around in kennel #7 waiting for my rescue. Message from Finder: Such a sweet lady with no issue going into the crate we set up for her. Found her super tired and dehydrated and after we asked around the neighborhood we couldn’t bear to leave her behind! She is currently safe and happy with us in Rapid City (we were driving across the state on a road trip). Would love to bring her back to her family if she has one. We took her to the vet on 9/4 and she is not chipped.

Description: Sweet red/brown girl. Looks to be about 2. Unfixed and appears to have had puppies.

The South Dakota Department of Corrections is providing notification to law enforcement and the public about the recent release of state prison offender Cory Yellow Boy.

“Based on his criminal history and institutional assessments that indicate a high risk to reoffend, I am alerting law enforcement and the public of this offender’s release from prison,” said Secretary of Corrections Kellie Wasko.

Cory Yellow Boy, age 34, was released from prison August 15, 2024, after serving the entirety of his sentences for eluding a police officer, s*x offender failure to update address, and possession of a controlled substance. Because he served the entirety of his sentences, he is not on parole supervision. Yellow Boy is a registered s*x offender.

Yellow Boy is Native American, 5-feet-5-inches tall, and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

This notification is in addition to the letters currently sent to law enforcement and notices provided to the Division of Criminal Investigation each month. Since 2011, the Department of Corrections has issued a total of 14 public notices of pending high risk offender releases.
