Has your lawn developed brown areas recently? You may have Army worms and they can quickly damage your lawn. These pests were swept in after a recent hurricane. They are not typically found in Central Ohio and should not survive the winter. This video can help you understand if your lawn has an Army worm problem. This warm wet Winter has provided great growing conditions for w**ds like Chickw**d and Henbit to prosper. These w**ds typically grow along edges and in lawns with thin grass coverage. If you find significant amounts of Chickw**d or Henbit in your yard, it may be time to Overseed or re-evaluate your lawncare practices. Mow your lawn high (4.0" or higher) and re-seed thin lawns and bare spots to reduce w**ds.

Looks like PA Phil was right - Winter just doesn't want to let go. We are now out providing first lawn treatments (DDG pre-emergent/feet). The weather did slow us down in early-March. Thanks for your patience as we work to get to all our clients' homes!

Phil was in an unusually feisty mood, but once he settled down, he saw his own shadow, officials deemed. Staten Island Chuck didn't agree, predicting an early spring.
