Gojo is always looking for a good time!

He's adjusting well to his new environment at the Edgewater Animal Shelter, and is getting ready to get back into training next week.

For now, he's having a blast getting to know the new environment, and getting worked with by their knowledgeable volunteers and staff! 🐾

He was transfered to the Edgewater Animal Shelter, and we followed him over to help out. πŸ’•

We are pleased to say he is adjusting well, has gained weight, started to settle down and is doing well!

Valor and Yadi having a mutual training day today.

Yadi and Valor were both rescues with similar base issues, but where Valor shut down Yadi would lunge forward. Yadi became reactive with his insecurities while Valor tried to disappear as best he could until he got comfortable; both were insane love bugs with no manners when they got comfortable.

Now these two are living their best lives, learning new skills and gaining confidence everyday.

Valor and Yadi have both been adopted and have amazing homes, who we will continue to support in an effort to ensure these amazing boys continue to be set up for success.

Valor is staying with us for a tune up while his parents go on a trip for a few days. ❀️

Valor was an at-risk rescue dog who was scared of the world, mouthy and needed a helping hand. after some rehabilitation he has found his perfect home where he not only thrives but we get to be a part of his life. 🐾

The Prince & The Pauper

Tucker is a miniature poodle mix who has been fostering with us for about 2 years. He was placed in a home early on, but unfortunately they did not appreciate his needs for structure, nor did they listen when we said he didn't like being treated like a small, cute fluffy dog.

Unlike Emrys, the Chinese Crested and his best friend, Tucker doesn't like to cuddle, be held, etc. he likes playing hard, fast and has play drive for days

Tucker was returned to us shortly after adoption, and while many people have been interested in adopting him, none appreciate his actual needs for an ideal home.

🏠 If you are looking for an excited, fun small dog who would love long days on the trial and a quiet home life without too many guests, and a small dog who wants to work and please rather than cuddle and be held. He's just a lot of energy, a lot of play drive but gets on great with other dogs and has zero prey drive!

Next week, our foster Sadie-Lady 🩷 will be starting her off leash, e-collar, training! We're so excited that our little "forever puppy" is moving onto the next stage of training with us. 🐾

Hopefully this is one step closer to her being adoptable as we await medical clearance and she continues her rehab. ❀️

The Road Home Canine Scholarship, by Some Minor Dog Rehab, helps provide training and rehabilitation for rescue dogs who need additional guidance, confidence-building, and structure in order to become stable and adoptable companions.
