We’ve shared the pups, but now it’s time to show some love to the kitties! We are so excited to announce that 6 amazing cats are officially on the flight manifest to our wonderful partners at PAWS Animal Adoption Center Maine! ✈️❤️

Just look at these sweet, beautiful faces: Kourtney, Whisper, Braum, Starbies, Poblano, and Cheddar Biscuit! Every single one of them is getting a true second chance at life.

We are especially excited for Braum to get his freedom because he is FIV-positive. We are so incredibly grateful to adoption centers like PAWS for welcoming cats with this diagnosis. There is a lot of misinformation out there, but Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is simply a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system. It cannot be transmitted to humans or other animal species, and it is only spread to other cats through deep, severe bite wounds—meaning neutered, indoor cats live perfectly safely alongside non-FIV cats without any issues! With standard veterinary care and a good indoor environment, FIV+ cats live completely normal, long, and happy lives.

A massive thank you to PAWS Animal Adoption Center for opening their rescue to these 6 precious felines, and to Wings of Rescue for flying into Del Rio to make this life-saving journey happen! 🙌✈️

Reminder: BAM doesn't collect local adoption fees. 100% of the funds for their transport vetting, food, travel supplies, and airline-approved crates comes entirely from your donations. If you want to help sponsor a kennel to get Braum and his friends safely to Maine, please consider donating today!

The flight manifest is growing, and we are incredibly proud to announce our next group of passengers! This crew of 13 amazing dogs is officially headed to our wonderful partners at PAWS Animal Adoption Center Maine 🩷🐾

Look at these beautiful faces! From Claire and her adorable Outlander puppy litter (Jamie, Jenny, Fergus, Geillis, Lizzie, Marsali, F***y, and Bree) to sweet Chico, Del, Ria, and Sheila—every single one of them is getting a true second chance at life. This operation takes an immense amount of coordination, and it's only possible because our amazing local foster families stepped up to give them a safe place to land while we got them medically cleared for travel.

A massive thank you to PAWS Animal Adoption Center for opening their adoption center to this wonderful crew, and to Wings of Rescue for flying right into Del Rio to make this life-saving mission happen! 🙌✈️

This group is especially close to our hearts because it includes 10 pitbull mixes. Finding rescue placement for bully breeds in our area is a massive uphill battle. Due to extreme local overcrowding of the shelters and a deeply unfair, false stigma surrounding the breed, these incredibly loving, loyal dogs often end up on the euthanasia lists to no fault of their own. By flying them to the Northeast, where breed-negative stigmas are being broken and the need for adoptable dogs is high, we are giving them the ultimate chance to finally just be family pets.

Reminder: BAM doesn't collect local adoption fees. 100% of the funds for their transport vetting, travel supplies, and airline-approved crates comes from your donations. If you want to help sponsor a kennel to get these pups safely to Maine, please consider donating today!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our official partnership with the Val Verde County Sheriff's Office to support the Val Verde County Animal Control Facility!

Our mission has always been to tackle animal overpopulation and suffering right at the root. We work hard to keep animals out of our local shelters in the first place by hosting the free spay/neuter and microchip clinics. But when an animal DOES end up at animal control and their owner hold is up, we step in to give them a second chance through our nationwide relocation program. ✈️🧳

And that brings us to some massive news from this past Wednesday...

BAM presented to the Val Verde County Commissioners Court, and they voted UNANIMOUSLY to support our newest project: The Freedom Village! 🎉

Located right on the Val Verde County Animal Control property, Freedom Village will give us a dedicated space to safely & temporarily house rescue animals directly after they leave the shelter. Here, we can focus on their medical prep, decompression, and behavioral training before they head out on transport to our adoption rescue partners across the U.S. We are incredibly grateful to the county for granting us the space to establish our transport-prep housing and fenced play area. This is a game-changer that will allow us to rescue more animals from animal control and get even more fully vetted, happy rescue animals onto their freedom flights! 🐾❤️

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨

We have been emailing local businesses and haven't received any responses😢. Our rescue transport leaves June 27, and we still need funds for airline kennels and required medical appointments for the dogs and cats traveling to their new adoption rescues.

We're asking our community and local businesses to help us reach our goal before transport day. Any donation, sponsorship, or contribution makes a difference and helps ensure these pets can make their journey.

If you'd like to help, please message us or email for more information about our sponsorship tiers and how we can help to advertise your business, while you could potentially receive a tax break! Thank you for supporting rescue and giving these animals a second chance. ❤️🐾

We’ve introduced the pups, but now it’s time for our feline friends to shine! We are so excited to announce that 15 cats are officially on the flight manifest to our wonderful partners at Safe Harbor Sanctuary in Maine! ✈️❤️

These beautiful families are all part of our No Mom Left Behind program. In rescue, nursing mothers are so often left behind after their kittens are weaned, but we make sure they all get a ticket to a new life together.

Please show some love to the amazing moms and babies heading north:
-Diana and her royal crew: Harry, Charlotte, Louis, Isabella, and Athena 👑
-Cricket and her sweet little sprouts: Sweet Pea and Primrose 🌱
-Mac and her adorable cheese litter: Ricotta, Gouda, Mozzarella, and Feta 🧀
-Caliente the tripod!

A huge thank you to Safe Harbor Sanctuary for opening their hearts to these three beautiful families, and to Wings of Rescue for making this flight possible! 🙌✈️

Reminder: BAM doesn't collect local adoption fees. Every bit of transport vetting, food, and airline-approved crates is funded 100% by your donations. If you want to help sponsor a kennel for one of these moms and her babies, please consider donating today!

From our Yellowstone litter to sweet Don Pepe, Igloo, Misty, Charlie, Duke, Luna & Rambo, Suede & Corduroy, every single one of these faces represents a life saved because our community stepped up to foster. And guess what? Our feline friends aren't being left behind—we will be announcing our cats heading to Safe Harbor very soon! 🐱👀

A massive thank you to Safe Harbor Sanctuary for taking in this wonderful crew, and to Wings of Rescue for flying right into Del Rio to make this possible! 🙌✈️

🎉 ADOPTION UPDATE: Two of our survivors are officially Florida residents! ☀️
We have two incredibly special updates today that are the perfect reminder of why we do this. Both of these babies are true survivors who came from the hardest situations, but they've officially made it to their forever families in Florida!

🌸 Raspberry
Raspberry is a survivor of a really tough hoarding situation, and she was completely shut down when she first arrived. The world was a terrifying place for her. It took a full year of patience and love for her to finally heal and learn how to just be a dog again. Now, she’s thriving with a whole pack of new dog siblings and finally getting to do normal, happy dog things.

🍊 Tangerine
Tangerine is our medical survivor. She went through a brutal battle with mastitis that meant multiple hospitalizations and a few really scary, close calls where she eventually needed a mastectomy. But she fought through it all. Today, she’s totally healthy, super cuddly, and has already claimed her own permanent spot on the recliner next to her human.

Seeing survivors like Raspberry and Tangerine get their happy endings makes every hard day worth it. We are so, so happy for them, and we owe a massive thank you to our new BAM Tampa team for being the bridge to their new lives! 🐾❤️
