We are now carrying antivenom!! With the weather warming up, this is prime snake bite season. Our antivenom will treat rattlesnake, cottonmouth, and copperhead snake bites.

Some of the signs of a snake bite are:
- rapid localized swelling
- strong pain response
- bleeding from puncture sites
- excessive drooling with facial swelling

Please contact us if you think your dog may have received a bite from one of Alabama's danger noodles!

At Summit we strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible!

We knew this little one didn’t like to lay on her side (the normal position to place a splint) because she struggled laying that way for her x-rays. Instead we held her like this and fed her cheese to help keep her still and calm for her splint placement. She was so brave throughout the whole process. We wish her and easy and quick recovery for her hairline fracture 🖤

Happy Easter Sunday from our employee of the month, Clark!

Clark has received the “employee of the month” status because he has been a wonderful greeter to our clients, has gone a whole month without destroying his toys, and has only peed on the floor twice because he got too excited. We are very proud of all the work he’s been putting in lately. Be sure to say “Hi!” to him if you see him. He’d love to show you his toys!
