Meet Hot Potato! 🐶💛

Don’t let his name fool you — this big guy is one cool potato! 🥔
Hot Potato is a 1½-year-old Mastiff mix weighing about 65 lbs (and could use a few extra snacks to fill out those big squishy cheeks!).

Please don’t judge him by his kennel behavior — once he’s out, he’s an absolute sweetheart! He’s well-behaved, walks nicely on a leash, knows commands, and loves to have fun. A true gentle giant who’s both smart and loving.

Hot Potato would do best with someone who has large dog experience and plenty of love to give. 💕

**Ravioli has been adopted**

Who saw these sweet adoptable pets on yesterday?

Aqua and Ravioli had a great time on their field trip to the news studio yesterday. They met many new friends and were both on their best behavior. Aqua even got to help with the weather forecast and she loved the extra on air time and attention!

Aqua is a 9-week-old female medium hair kitten that had a rough start to her sweet little life! She is a feisty little thing that may be a little nervous at first but loves to be held and loved by anyone that will pick her up.

Ravioli is a 1-year-old terrier mix that came in as a stray on October 9th. She is the sweetest girl that walks well on a leash and seems to be great with other dogs and cats.

Meet Pumpkin Seed! 🍂
This adorable golden retriever mix is about 7–8 months old and came to us on 10/15. She’s a spayed female with soft, wavy fur and the sweetest eyes that will melt your heart. 💛

Pumpkin Seed has all the best puppy energy — she loves to play fetch, even if she’s still working on that “bring it back” part 😄. She’s a smart girl who looks to her humans for direction, which makes her a quick learner and a great candidate for training!

She’s also a total social butterfly and loves meeting new people, so stop by and say hi — she’d love to meet you! 🐶

Our Adoptions Manager only managed to snag one photo this week — but it’s a great one! 😍 Pictured here is Sweet Bread, one of the sweetest girls who found the loving home she truly deserves. 💕

This week we celebrated 9 dog adoptions — Bat Girl, Candy Corn, Caramel Apple, Charlie, Farfelle, Fuzzy Maraca, Luna, Pablo, and Sweet Bread — and 11 cat adoptions — Alvin, Gnocchi, Mercutio, Pesto, Pinky, Ruby, Smokey, Valentino, Velcro, and Zebra Cake! 🐶🐱

We’re so thankful for everyone who adopted, shared, commented, liked, and supported us this week. You help make happy tails like these possible! ❤️

We’ve got the sweetest treat of all waiting right here at the shelter — Candy Corn! 🧡🤍💛

This adorable terrier mix is estimated to be about 5–6 months old and weighs around 18 pounds. We’re not sure if he’ll get much bigger, but we are sure that his heart is already full-sized! 💕

Candy Corn might not melt in your mouth, but he’ll definitely melt your heart. He’s ready to trade in the shelter life for a forever home where he can be your little piece of happiness every day.
