Southeast, MI

This is a 10 ¹/2 month old male Rottie who is looking for either a foster or a foster-to-adopt home. He is cat & dog friendly.

A foster home is when you babysit the dog until his vetting is completed and until we find him a home. Dogs are not in foster homes for very long. We network our dogs and finding them a forever home is always top priority.

A foster-to-adopt home means that the dog stays with you, but still belongs to the rescue until his vetting is completed. Then, you may adopt the dog from us.

Please message me if you are interested in helping this dog. We pay for everything.

▪️Must be within 1 hour of Davison, MI
▪️Must own your own home - no renters
▪️Must have a fenced-in yard
▪️Your current dogs must be fixed

⭐️ Funny $5 Friday! ⭐️ PLEASE READ⬇️

Current Situation Here:
We've had 2 new intakes in the last couple of weeks. Zeus & Ram. They both need to be neutered still. Ram's appt is Monday. He will be neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm prevention needs to be started, and microchipped. (I misunderstood the finders. They did not have him microchipped.) Zeus started his vetting last week and will be neutered after his vaccines are completed.
Both dogs have already been dewormed.

We are actually building a wall in my house (not with rescue funds) this weekend so Panda can come in the house and be completely separated from my dogs. I can't afford to heat my garage all winter. It gets way too cold here to do that. So, cutting my house in half is my only option. 🙃

✨️Thank you to everyone who donated last week. It is very much appreciated. 🙏

We are good on food at the moment. We just really need help with their vetting expenses.

Let me introduce you to Ram! 💙
Though, I am convinced his name should be Lucky Ram. 🍀

He was the puppy who was found running in traffic, not once, but TWICE!

First, he was found by a vet tech on October 2nd. She managed to secure him and get him with a foster until she could either find his owner or a rescue. He was filthy & emaciated. They bathed him, fed him, and provided him with safety. No owner claimed him, so she found a rescue to take him in.

2 weeks later, he was found running in traffic AGAIN. And even though he was found as a stray again, that rescue claimed they had him and "he was improving every day." 😳 👌

Ram got so lucky that the nicest people happen to find him and take him in. They also just happened to be Rottweiler owners. What are the odds of that? They took him to the vet to get scanned and they got him microchipped so it would be done in case they were able to locate his owners. Super awesome people!

Well, they have offered to foster him and Simba Bascomb from Metro K9 Detroit has offered to provide him with free training! 🙏

Long story short, he is finally safe & with people who will not give up on him. Better days are ahead for Ram. 💙

✨️This whole situation has restored my faith in humanity. There are still good people in this world who won't look the other way when an animal needs help. They all stepped up and took the initiative to help this sweet boy when he needed it. They absolutely saved his life!

✨️If anyone would like to donate towards Ram's vet care, we would really appreciate it. He will need to be fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, and we will be reimbursing the fosters for the microchip for their nice gesture.

Thank you Tay Faith for everything you've done to help Ram. Thank you Jeffrey Verbeke for offering to foster him. You and your wife are amazing people!
