Ocala Weekend Wrap Up!

What a great weekend! We celebrated several wins, including:

Sofia: 2 x Winners B*t*h, 1 Reserve WB, and won the open class every day
Ricky Bobby: 1 Winners Dog, 1 Reserve WD
Burrito: 1 Reserve WB
Player: 1 Best of Breed

Its been a long time since the whole crew got to go to a show and it was worth it!!!

Clue, Cody x Gretchen, is our resident clown and ultimate cuddler. There's nothing he isn't up for whether it's cuddling on the couch or playing fetch. He's definitely one of the best 😍

As another year comes to an end, we reflect on another amazing year for team GoldRox.

Daisy, CH GoldRox Land Rover at Pelcorp (Arson x Spark), started the year off with a bang by finishing her AKC Championship with a HUGE 5 point major owner handled!!! She then went on to have her first litter with the late great Cody, MBIS MBISS GCHG Gemini Fallchase The Butler Did It, and those puppies will be hitting the rings very soon!

Charlie, GoldRox's Top Gun RN FDC NF BCAT CGCA (Yeager x Audrey), picks up several more wins, including an amazing Sporting Group WIN, also owner handled! She only needs a major to finish her CH. She was also busy this year participating in performance venues and added NF and BCAT to her name.

Ember, GoldRox She's Hot to Trot @ Firerock RN JH CGC FTA (Arson x Beth), picked up her first points from the puppy classes at the beginning of the year and then smashed her Junior Hunter title by going 4 for 4 in the Fall.

Bogie, GoldRox Love Affair CGC TKN BOSS (Arson x Ember*), won Winners Dog SIX times with one being a major win, and he now only needs a major to finish. Bogie is always owner handled.

Buzz, GoldRox It's Gonna Be a Lightyear (Doak x Caly), went WD at the DeLand dog show for his first point, owner handled.

Sofia, GoldRox Hot Pursuit (Arson x Ember*), made her debut in the show ring in November and won WB twice for 4 points towards her CH.

Blue, RBIS BISS GCHS GoldRox Can't Help But Falling in Love with Blue RI THD CGC TKN SDHF (Arson x Fuzz), won several Best of Breeds, group placements, groups wins and a Reserve BEST IN SHOW! These wins qualify him for next years Top 20 competition in St Louis! Blue also ended the year as the NUMBER 1 OWNER HANDLED GOLDEN RETRIEVER!

Arson, BIS BISS GCHB GoldRox SunnyDreams Fire Starter SDHF, has continued to prove just how talented he is as a stud dog. This year, 16 of his kids finished their AKC Championships, bringing his total up to a whopping 53 Champion offspring!! He is now one of the top producing sires in breed history in the USA!

None of this was possible without the hard work and dedication of the owners and handlers of these dogs.

We can't wait to see what 2025 holds!!!

🏆ARSON HITS HIS 5Oth CHAMPION 🏆

This past weekend at the Ponce Kennel Club Dog Show, Secret, CH De La Vega Don't Kiss and Tell, went WB to finish her AKC Championship and become Arson's 50th AKC Champion offspring!!!

We've always known Arson was special, but never imagined he'd have the success he's had as a stud dog. He is clearly making his stamp on the breed and continues to prove just how effective he is as a stud.

His offspring include:

Proud Breeder Brag!!!

This amazing duo has had a ⭐️stellar⭐️ last 2 weeks!!

Casey and her boy Blue, RBIS BISS GCHS GoldRox SDHF TDHA CGC TKN, won Best of Breed, Sporting Group First, and Reserve Best In Show on Labor Day in Amana, IA over top handlers with top ranked dogs!

Then, the very next weekend, they won Best In Specialty at the Des Moines Golden Retriever Club Specialty for their very first Specialty win!

These wins by themselves are absolutely amazing in their own right, but if you add in the fact that Casey is an OWNER HANDLER and Blue is her first show dog, it makes these accomplishments outstanding!!! There are people who have been in this sport for decades and haven't accomplished wins like these, even with professional handlers.

Casey never once gave up. Never once doubted herself or her dog's abilities. She kept showing, kept learning, and her hard work paid off. We couldn't be prouder of her and Blue (and Bogey too!)

When looking at the accomplishments of a stud dog, it's a wonderful accomplishment to say he has an offspring in the Top 20 dogs in the country. For a dog to have 2 is outstanding. Three is absolutely insane. Well, Arson has made the impossible, possible! For the 3rd year in a row, Arson has had multiple offspring qualify for the Top 20 competition at the GRCA National Specialty, and this year, there are 3!

But wait....if you expand the rankings even further to the Top 30 ranked Goldens in the country, he has six offspring! Yes, you read that right, SIX! 20% of the country's top Goldens were sired by Arson!

Arson's oldest kids are only just now turning 5 years old. I truly believe the best is yet to come!

A sincerely thank you to all the wonderful breeders who have incorporated Arson into their breeding programs to produce these amazing dogs!

Both Beth and Caly had been confirmed pregnant with Rhett puppies!! Both girls are expecting 6 +/- puppies in mid July 😍🐶😍 We are now accepting applications for puppies from these litters.

Beth due July 12. Puppies go home Sept 8.
Caly due July 17. Puppies go home Sept 12.
