Lola presented to us for a fracture on her left hind leg after she was hit by a car. The fracture was near the head of the femur, making this a difficult repair. The surgery took 4 hours! 10 screws, 2 pins, and a plate later, she was on the road to recovery. She is 2 months out from surgery now, and the owners are happy to report that she is pretty much back to normal! We are so happy she is doing well! Check out the before and after surgery x-rays!

Tater Tot came in to get his teeth cleaned recently! His mom's chief complaint was halitosis (bad breath) and tartar build up on his teeth. While under gas anesthesia, we performed full mouth dental radiographs, a complete oral exam by Dr. Cahill and thorough dental cleaning by one of our RVTs (Registeted Veterinary Technician). Tater Tot was monitored throughout the procedure by Stephanie, RVT, while Dani, RVT performed the radiographs and cleaning. He recovered great and his mom reports he has fresh breath and a shiny new smile!

🌞🔥 Summer is here and so is the heat! While on a heat advisory, you should NOT have your pet outside for extended periods of time. This is especially true for geriatric, brachycephalic (short-nosed, flat-faced), or any pet with cardiac or respiratory disease!

Heat stroke is a serious emergency—know the signs and act fast to keep your furry friends safe.

If you notice any of these symptoms, contact your veterinarian immediately!
