Ms. Margarita stopping by to say HI and please adopt. Don’t shop. Lives depend on it.

euthanasia rates are the highest we have seen since we got into this work. Innocent, friendly, healthy dogs, losing their life because there’s simply nowhere for them to go.

Lives also depend on fostering! Our wonderful friends Sophia and Karly have fostered the sweet puppy for the past few weeks. This saved her life.

She is pending adoption now and going to her new possible forever home this weekend!

She loves her toys, chewys, and cuddles — and she’s never happier than when she’s hanging out with her doggy friends or going on an adventure. Whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood or a weekend hike, Miley is your ultimate sidekick.

Miley is great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and would thrive in an active, loving home where she can be part of the action and the snuggles.

😍 Meet Toby

This sweet 3-year-old Boxer/Beagle mix has survived more than any dog should — and yet, he remains one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet.

Toby spent his entire life as a stray at an apartment complex in eastern Kentucky. He was beaten, kicked, attacked by other dogs, and rarely fed. Despite everything, he always put others first — even going without food so a female dog he ran with could eat instead. 😢

Even now, safe in his foster home, Toby still tries to share his meals with his foster sister. That’s just who he is — selfless, gentle, and full of love to give.

He’s about 35–40 lbs, housebroken, and friendly with everyone he meets. He bears the physical scars of his past, but you’d never know it by his spirit. Toby is ready for a soft bed, a warm heart, and a home where he’ll be cherished for the rest of his life.

Apply today at www.fofdogrescue.com ♥️ We offer transport 🚗!

Toby was a stray his whole life at an apartment complex in eastern Kentucky.

People beat and kicked him, other dogs attacked him. He was barely ever fed.

There was a female dog that ran with him and he would go without food and give it to her. 🥹🥹🥹

Even this morning at his foster home… He tried to give his breakfast to his foster sister. He is so selfless.

This boy has gone through a lot and you’d never know other than scars on his face and body.

Toby would love a home full of love to love to live the rest of his life.

Please comment below or message us if you are interested.

Please share it as you may know his forever family.

If you can't adopt, please donate to his vet care.

Let’s find this boy a home!

🐾 June is National Foster a Pet Month… and Coco Needs Your Help! 🐾

June is National Foster a Pet Month, a time to open your heart and home to a pet in need—and this year, we’re facing an extra challenge. Our beloved barn, where we care for many of our rescue dogs, is getting a much-needed renovation starting July 7th. While we’re excited for the upgrades, we need to find temporary homes for all our dogs during construction.

Every dog in our care has been rescued from life-threatening situations. Fostering gives them a safe, loving space to heal and grow while they wait for their forever homes.

Coco is our longest resident, waiting a long time for her chance at a loving home. This sweet, resilient girl grew up chained, just a few feet from another dog she could never touch—an experience that left her with socialization challenges. Despite it all, Coco has made amazing progress with training, loves her human friends, and is ready to find someone who can see her potential and guide her through the next chapter of her healing journey. All she needs is love, patience, and a warm place to call home—whether as a foster or a forever family.

Whether you’ve fostered before or are thinking about it for the first time, this is the perfect moment to step up. We’ll match you with the right dog for your lifestyle, guide you through the process, and provide full support along the way. We also offer transport for our dogs—so you can foster no matter where you live!

Ever heard the expression “work like a dog”? We always thought it meant hard work—until we met Frank! 🐾 This adorable foster pup is redefining what working like a dog really means. For Frank, it’s all about the important jobs: snuggles, love, leisurely walks, more snuggles, naps, and, of course, plenty of playtime!

And what better time to celebrate this kind of “work” than National Foster a Pet Month? Frank is showing us just how rewarding fostering can be.

Frank is available for adoption and would love to be your partner in the best kind of work: sharing love, joy, and companionship.

🐾 Apply today at www.fofdogrescue.com and make Frank’s “work” your everyday happiness! 💙
