🚗 Why We Use Crash-Tested Kennels for Our Dogs (& Recommend Them for Yours)

At Eerie Canines, safety is always a top priority, for our client dogs, and our personal dogs. Whether we’re traveling to training sessions, events, or vet appointments, pets ride in crash-tested kennels. We currently have Variocage and Ruff Land kennels in our vehicles, however we do recommend Gunner Kennels as well. These aren’t just crates - they’re life-saving equipment.

In the event of a car accident or even a hard stop, an unrestrained dog can become a dangerous projectile. These high-quality kennels are built to withstand serious impact, keeping dogs secure, minimizing injury, and preventing escape in moments of chaos. They also reduce driver distraction, which helps prevent accidents in the first place.

We don’t just recommend these kennels to you, we trust them every day with our own dogs. If you’re traveling with your dog, give them the same level of protection you’d give any family member - like a car seat for a baby! It’s an investment in their safety (and yours).

Who remembers Oliver who stayed with me over Christmas?
His mom and I have had two lessons in the past month to address his fearfulness. We had our second lesson last night, she has done great with their “homework”. He has shown big improvement, I got this text this morning - he’s choosing to let someone pet him, that is major for him!
I just love getting texts like this from owners. I get just as giddy to see ya’ll meet your goals with your dogs as you do!!

🐕 We keep our playgroups small! They are tailored to each dog's personality and play style.
🧍‍♀️ Dogs are never left unsupervised. Playgroups are always under supervision to ensure play stays safe and under control.
😴 Not only do we have structured play, enrichment and confidence building activites but we also provide appropriate rest time.
💥 Individual time away from others for training, treadmill exercise, walks, field trips, can be added to their schedule to ensure all your pups needs are being met. Daycare is special for your dog and their unique needs!

✨ Optional Add-Ons:
•Pick up and/or Drop off - Pups can be picked up for their day of fun, travel in our specialized car kennels and returned home for convenience.
•Individualize Training - Mention the behaviors your dog needs help with when you book with us and we can work to accomplish your goals together!
•Full Service Groom – Includes a bath, blow dry, ear cleaning, and nail trim. Ask us about all our grooming services!
•Nail Trim Only – Free for regularly scheduled clients.
