Not all of you were on my friends list when the bucket babies were found. I will soon create a note with their story in full as to what happened that day. I have spent many hours and sleepless nights around the clock taki
ng care of this puppy as well as I fought to save her two other siblings the day they were found. One puppy was dead on arrival that morning, Already had drowned in a 5 gallon bucket of water, Three were clinging to life, we lost two that same day, they were rushed immediately to the Vet's office and for two the damage was done and fluid on the lings they were dieing!. We gave them every chance we could to revive each one of them. God knows how bad I cried that day. As I cradled each one one by one in towels and blankets to get them dry and warm, rubbing them trying to revive any life left in them we or I could. I was called to the scene of where the puppies were found by a kind man who was flagged down by another neighbor about hearing crying puppies early that morning. Please continue to support Destiny's page and her siblings and mother she lost in their memory. I can only say the two we lost did not cross over without compassion and love til their last breath. My husband and I both have taken an active role in the the entire litter that was found to try and save them. We are not the police, we can't go beat on doors or go in peoples yards. We are doing all that we can at this point, that is to take care of baby Destiny. This has been turned over to the Dallas Police Dept, there are TWO Detectives who have been out three times in a two day period after this happened. Yes a REPORT has been filed with Dallas Police, Dallas 311 and Animal Control. Because someone did this in wee hours of the morning and nobody has come forward on seeing anything, there is not a lot they can do until they get further tips. Everytime I leave my house I find myself searching with my eyes driving by homes on the block and three blocks over looking for any signs of a lactating pit bull, any signs of POOLS, Hot tubs, or buckets that match what we saw that morning. Dallas News 4 was contacted via email. nobody from the media ever got back with us on it. I pray everyday, have cried so many tears, and it takes all I have to keep going for Destiny with two hour feedings, vet visits, etc. My hands are tied and full as to what I can do if I don't have a person to pin this to to report. We did tip off the police two suspected houses on the block, They have been checked out, and no mother dog or pool equipment was found nor any other puppies:-( This is a very sad case, they may never get resolved. I am grateful Destiny has made i this far, and is thriving everyday. Destiny and her litter mates were found at approx 10:30 am on Sept 19, 2013 We have no idea of her exact age, her eyes are still not open as of Sept 29, 2013 We will post photos and videos of her progress on this page as well as if there is ever any news on solving this mystery case. YES in TX animal cruelty and killing animals is against the law.
