Welcome to the National Colorbred Association's Facebook. We are an International Colorbred Canary Club. Membership dues are $35 single, $45 dual.

Our judges are required to take a written and visual examination to be qualified to judge at our affiliated exhibitions. All members in good standing receive a quarterly Newsletter. Members are also able to purchase closed bands. We also provide patronage awards to local affiliated clubs and the National Cage Bird Show. Did you know that the mosaic category is the same for both melanic and lipochrome canaries? 🤔✨

The differences we see between them are due to the interaction of melanin in melanic canaries, which modifies the way color is expressed. This is why melanic mosaics may appear visually different, even though they follow the same structural pattern as lipochromes!
