🚨 Ruh Roh Rescue Hiatus Announcement 🚨

Starting August 17, Ruh Roh Rescue will be going on a temporary hiatus. During this time, we will not be taking in any new animals and our Website will be out of commission. Our focus will shift to finding loving, permanent homes for the animals currently in our care.

Please note:
We are still fully committed to all animals that have previously been adopted through Ruh Roh Rescue. We will continue to honor all adoption contracts and remain available to support our past adopters during this break.

Thank you to our community, fosters, and supporters for standing by us as we take this much-needed pause to reset and refocus. 💛

📢 Important Update from Ruh Roh Rescue 🐾

Starting August 17, Ruh Roh Rescue will be taking a temporary hiatus.

This means:
🚫 We will not be intaking any new animals
🏡 We’ll be focusing on getting the animals currently in our care adopted
📞 We WILL continue to support all past adopters—our adoption contracts will still be honored during this time

This break will help us reset, regroup, and ensure the best possible care for the animals already with us.

This is a little late, but we wanted to post some congratulations stories to three of our fosters.

First off, we have a pair of kittens Daisy and Rose. They ended up getting foster failed by their foster mom. Their crazy antics and cute looks ended up making their foster mom fall in love with them and couldn’t give them up. They now live peacefully taking over an apartment. And getting spoiled rotten by their mom.

Another foster was Wildfire. She had gone to a trial run, which ended up becoming a foster to adopt. She has now officially been adopted by her new parents. And she has a new sister named Bella. They have become inseparable during their trial run and foster to adopt time period. Wifire is getting bigger every day and is getting closer closer to the size of her big sister. She has grown so much and her new family love her.

We are so happy for all three of these girls and for the new families. We wish them the best and know that they all got loving beautiful girls into their homes. They couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Sky is doing fantastic for her first week after surgery spay. She is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

She will be come available in about another week. She does currently have someone interested so she might be gone fast but boy is she a cutie.

She came from the same home that Jack did, but was found so we don’t know her history either. She’s definitely on the smaller side of the heeler but has a more laid back personality with small sparks of energy.

Announcing our latest fosters! We have 3 kittens - 2 boys and 1 girl. We’ve had them for awhile but waited until they got out of the danger zone to share their cute faces.

They are currently at their foster home, thriving and sleeping 😂

Mainly orange - Sushi male (available)
White and orange - Pickles female (available)
Grey and white - Blue Cheese male (already has an application in)

Happy 4th of July from Ruh Roh Rescue!

Please make sure to keep pets safe tonight. We want every furbaby to stay with their families and be safe tonight. We know it’s fun and exciting for us but it can be terrifying and stressful for our pets.

Here are a few things that can help your furbaby tonight as we get closer and closer to night time and fireworks start.

This week our first fosters ever and first litter of puppies will be turning 1!

This litter was full of new learning experiences and memories. These guys are full of personality and most have been able to find their forever homes and get to celebrate it with them. We are so happy!

We miss when these guys were the tiny babies they are but love the dogs they’ve grown into.

We still have Roxy and Tot and Jack is almost done with recovery and then he’ll be available for adoption again.

These guys are full of love and can’t wait to give more love.

Marmalade Update:

We just got these updated pictures from Marmalade’s new home and we couldn’t be happier. She is adjusting well to her new home and has become fast cuddle and sight seeing besties with her sister, Artemis.

We are so happy to hear she’s doing fantastic and getting that attention she deserves.
