PAWS UP!!!!!

The animals at the shelter are looking for their new favorite humans — and it could be YOU! ❤️🐶🐱

We need volunteers to help with things like:
🐾 Walking dogs
🐾 Playing with pups & kitties
🐾 Cleaning kennels
🐾 Helping with laundry & dishes
🐾 Cleaning surgical instruments
🐾 Giving belly rubs, treats, and extra love

Whether you have an hour or a few, YOU can make a huge difference in the lives of shelter pets waiting for homes.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING SESSION:
When: Wednesday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m.
Where: Lifesaving and Learning Center (east of the shelter)

Please help!!!!

We are calling on our community to help our four-legged friends out in a HUGE way!!

We have an amazing partner in Maine who has secured placement for several of our PAWSOME friends but...they need somewhere to rest their heads until May 20th!

This is where you come in! We are looking for several short-term fosters to open their homes for just 10 days until these sweet babies can catch their transport and ride off into the sunset toward their furever homes!

Hi! I’m Lisa McLeroy — proud Executive Director of the Friends of Tri-Cities Animal Shelter and full-time advocate for wagging tails, happy purrs, and the occasional slobbery kiss. 🐾

Being a lifelong Tri-Cities local with strong Duncanville roots through our family’s 40+ year business, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know so many incredible people. Having built those relationships, I will happily call on every one of them to help turn more shelter stories into happily-ever-afters.

In my role, I wear many hats, such as fundraiser, event planner, community partner, adoption cheerleader, and sometimes professional belly-rub giver. I’m also highly trained in treat distribution and have been known to stop mid-sentence if a dog walks by.

I love dreaming of fun ways to support the shelter which may include craft fairs, fundraisers, community events, and basically any excuse to bring people together for a great cause (and maybe meet a few adorable dogs, cats, or any other animal that comes to us in need along the way).

The best moment? Watching a shelter pet walk out the door with their furever family. There’s nothing better than seeing a once-homeless pup or kitty strut out like they just won the lottery.

My goal is simple: more wagging tails, more happy purrs, and a community that rallies around the animals who need us most. And if your dog suddenly knows my name…It’s probably because I’m the one with the treats!

Tamale Fundraiser

Your Tamale order will be available for pick up at the Lifesaving and Learning Center (Next door to Tri-City Animal Shelter) on Friday, May 1st between 6:00-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 2nd between 10:00-12:00 noon.
