Kidd has been making progress in the right direction lately. For those that didn’t know him prior to this post…This little guy has been a challenge to work with but I’m finally starting to see some progress. Kidd came in very sick and extremely reactive. After we took the time to really figure each other out he’s been coming around really well. Each and every horse has a lesson to teach us and I’ll be the first to admit that I needed him to teach me more patience and make me really break down every step of his training process.

!!!El rodeo obstacle challenge 2025!!! Congrats to all of riders. We got the opportunity to watch everyone achieve their goals this weekend and grow with their horses. Looking forward to more of these events in the future but as of right now I think we all need to catch up on some sleep😁thank you so much to all of those that volunteer and help out over the weekend! We couldn’t do it without you.

Long overdue post but Garland graduated from 30 days of training and went home with her owners. So very pleased with this horse and her training. Many horses wouldn’t have very good results with the fast passed training program but she really proved herself. Having the opportunity to work with horses like this will always make me happy❤️ thank you again for giving me to opportunity to work with this one. She’s heaven sent

Change can not occur within comfort zones

Kidd has been growing and learning so much these past couple weeks. He’s really settled in to his stall and made friends with his neighbors. We have had the chance to do a lot more groundwork now that he can comfortably move his feet. He’s come out of his shell and started showing more personality lately. I’m beyond excited to see how much he enjoys learning. Over the years of starting young horses I can honestly say I’ve never had one enjoy the training sessions as much as him. He still has his reactive moments but he has quickly learned to use the thinking side of his brain.
