Long overdue post but Garland graduated from 30 days of training and went home with her owners. So very pleased with this horse and her training. Many horses wouldn’t have very good results with the fast passed training program but she really proved herself. Having the opportunity to work with horses like this will always make me happy❤️ thank you again for giving me to opportunity to work with this one. She’s heaven sent

Change can not occur within comfort zones

Kidd has been growing and learning so much these past couple weeks. He’s really settled in to his stall and made friends with his neighbors. We have had the chance to do a lot more groundwork now that he can comfortably move his feet. He’s come out of his shell and started showing more personality lately. I’m beyond excited to see how much he enjoys learning. Over the years of starting young horses I can honestly say I’ve never had one enjoy the training sessions as much as him. He still has his reactive moments but he has quickly learned to use the thinking side of his brain.

I can’t thank everyone enough that helped in getting kidd his first pedicure. This little dream team has made it possible for him to finally be comfortable. When he came in he had terribly long feet as if they had never been done. He will need some time to adjust to his new angles now that he doesn’t have flippers for feet. With the constant worry about his tendons lately we have gotten the chance to do lots of desensitization but not as much groundwork as I would prefer. I’m looking forward to moving him around and hopefully seeing even more progress with his training. ❤️
