We are a 501c3 rescue group in the N. Texas area, committed to helping dogs find loving homes. To provide medical treatment for all animals in our care.

Our Purpose:
To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities. To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders". To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets. To provide foster homes for all animals in our care. To place rescued animals in permanent, loving homes.

Josey has spent most of her life waiting for the right person to see her. Raised in a shelter from just 3 months old, this gentle girl didn’t grow up with the comfort of a real home. Now 2 years old, she’s been in a foster home since she was 1.5—and she's come such a long way!

Because she grew up around animals, Josey feels most comfortable with furry friends. She’s dog-friendly, loves cats, and finds peace simply observing the world around her. She’s a quiet companion who prefers a calm home with other pets to help her feel safe.

But don’t let her shyness fool you—Josey enjoys gentle head scratches from her foster mom and is making progress every single day. 💛

Meet Kordel – A Loyal Companion Ready for His Next Chapter. At 11 years old and weighing in at 20 lbs, Kordel is a spunky little Chihuahua mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After his beloved owner passed away, Kordel found himself in need of a new forever home. He’s currently being lovingly fostered by someone helping him through this life transition, but he’s ready to find a family of his own.

Kordel has a sweet and playful side that shines once he learns to trust you. While he can be cautious at first—especially with strangers or fast movements—he just needs a little time and patience to feel safe. Once that bond forms, he’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and loves being near his person. His favorite things include zooming around the room like a mini greyhound and curling up in his crate (he prefers the door open, thank you very much).

He’s lived peacefully with both dogs and cats and currently shares his foster home with a friendly dog companion. However, due to his need for slow introductions and space to warm up, a home without small children is best.

Kordel is: Neutered, Up-to-date on vaccines, Current on heartworm prevention, Heartworm tested (negative), On Cytopoint for skin allergies (approx $40 every 2-3 months)

His foster mom works from home and reports that he hasn’t had accidents when kept on a regular routine and taken out often. He’s incredibly agile and in great physical shape – you’d never guess his age when you see him leap onto his favorite chair!

It's close to the first hurrah of Summer, and what's the BEST thing about Summer?

Meet Beach!

Mother's Summer and Spring were abandoned at the shelter by their owner, just about to give birth, scared, with only each other. These sweet sisters both became new moms after being rescued by Legacy Humane Society. Summer had six adorable babies. Balmy, Sandcastle, Vacation, Beach, Hammock, and Barbecue who where born in a loving foster home, and are doing great!.

Beach is a beautiful white female Rat Terrier/Basenji mix with three brown spots. She looks like a small, petite Boxer Mix, with a white blaze, tipped ears, soulful brown eyes, and a curly tail. She weighs 12.2 lbs. and is 12 weeks old. Beach is looking for a family with the time and patience to teach her to be the best puppy she can be, where she will be a loved member of the family forever.

Spring is a spunky, tail-wagging, delightful young girl. She seeks out attention and is very sociable, affectionate, and wants to climb into your lap. She is completely thrilled to be outside and feel the soft grass under her feet, and will sit for treats, taking them nicely. She walks well on a leash. She loves toys, balls, and playing with other playful dogs.

She already knows the sit command and is smart and motivated enough to learn additional commands, and is treat-motivated. Can you find it in your heart to make her dreams come true by networking with her, or if you are missing a member of your family, she would love to meet you!

Spring is a beautiful black, white, and brown spayed female. She is a Rat Terrier mix, a small, petite girl with a white chest, 4 white socks on all four feet, soulful brown eyes, and an adorable stub tail that is always wagging. She weighs 25 lbs. and is 1 and 1/2 years old.

She is house and crate-trained, walks on a leash, and is very friendly and sweet. Spring is good with other dogs and loves to explore the neighborhood on walks, as well as relax with her foster mom on the couch. She is looking for a family where she will be a loved member of the family forever.

Sweet, affectionate, and smart — Luthien is a one-of-a-kind doggie looking for a home where she can shine as the only dog. Rescued from a hoarding situation in 2023, she’s come a long way in her journey and is ready for her fresh start.

Luthien loves people of all ages — she’s incredibly gentle with children (she’s even patiently let a toddler decorate her with tape hats!) and quickly makes friends with everyone she meets. She’s playful, intelligent, and loves tug-of-war, backyard time, and learning new commands. She already knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “come,” and is working on “wait” and “heel.”

Due to a conflict with the older resident dog who was there first, Luthien needs to be the only pet in the home. She hasn't been tested with cats.

She is:

Up-to-date on all vaccinations and HW prevention (rabies, DHPPC, bordetella)
Energetic, curious, and ready for her next adventure

As we celebrate freedom today, we’re also celebrating Faith — a brave little puppy who’s ready for a fresh start and a forever home! 🇺🇸🐾

Meet Faith, a 12-week-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. She loves belly rubs, cozy blankets, and following her foster mom around the house. Faith is crate trained, doing great with potty training, and loves playing with other dogs (and even cats!).

Honey is a very cuddly and affectionate girl who is great with kids and other dogs. She loves to play and is a quick learner. She is crate trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She’s ready for an active family of her own.

All interested applicants are recommended to research their breed(s) prior to submitting an adoption application. Puppies are playful, active, and loving. They need someone will lots of time and patience to raise them to be the best adult dogs they can be!
