The Mission was founded in 2009 after our veterinarian volunteered at a puppy mill rescue... Fueling our desire is to build a safe haven for any animal in need. Mazie's is currently operating a veterinary hospital in a leased facility. We are looking for ~ 25 acres where the final hospital and adoption center will be built.

💔Annie is growing up in foster care, and there is no need for that. She is a wonderful dog! She loves people, cats, dogs, adventure, chill time, tug of war, swimming, 🎾, etc.

She would love to have another 🐶 in the home to play with, and she doesn’t mind cats at all!

Annie is just over 5 months old, and is doing well with potty training. She is fully crate trained, and loves learning commands.

❓ If you have a guess on her breed, leave a comment below! We think maybe a lab mix, maybe some Great Dane, possibly a pittie?? She is a mystery.

‼️ This girl needs our help‼️

We are looking for a foster for this sweet girl! A partner shelter is asking for our help, and we can’t do it without a foster. She is approximately 2 years old and medium size, but as you can tell she needs to gain weight. She has been super affectionate with the people at the shelter, and hasn’t been reactive to any of the animals there.

🩸 unfortunately she is experiencing 💩 troubles. She is pooping out plastic which is causing a very upset tummy. As you can see, she is emaciated and has lots of scarring on her body 💔. Our Mazie’s Mission vet team would love to give her the medical help she needs 💊, but we need a dedicated foster home for her first.

Please consider fostering this girl 🏠 . When fostering with Mazie’s Mission we cover all the food, crate, toys, medical, puppy pads, etc. You just need to be local enough to get her to and from vet appointments in Plano!

‼️Please consider fostering this sweet girl. ❤️‍🩹 She has overcome more than any dog ever should. Zelda is a gunshot survivor resulting in an amputation of her front leg. She was adopted shortly after then returned when her owners went through hard times 💔. Of course we took her back into the Mazie’s Mission Rescue, but we certainly hadn’t planned for such a thing to happen. She needs a foster home where she can be the only dog, or has other submissive dogs in the home. She doesn’t mind spending the day in her crate while you work, she actually enjoys the quiet time to rest. When you’re home she would love to snuggle up or play ball some.

Zelda is such a joy to interact with, she loves all humans and indoor cats, and would make an excellent pet for a foster family. If you want more info on Zelda please reach out to us. We could talk about her for days! 💕

Hi! My name is Zelda! Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you - I do only have 3 legs!

But I can run up the stairs, jump on the couch and run zoomies in the backyard with no issues.

I am crate trained and potty trained. I love to play and love to cuddle with my person on the couch. I do well with cats but I am scared of dogs and I act poorly with them at times so it would be best if I am the only dog in my future home.

I love being with kids though.... If they throw the ball, I will run after it! I would love to go on a walk with you as well. It is one of my favorite past times. I am the happiest dog you will ever meet and I just love to be with my person.

But if you work outside of the house, that is fine too. I don’t mind my crate.

Zelda is 5 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

👋 Hello there future best friend! I’m Brody—a dashing 4-year-old gentleman with the energy of a puppy and the wisdom of... well, a slightly older puppy. Life threw me a curveball when my previous human moved into assisted living, so now I’m on the hunt for a new family to spoil me rotten.

Let’s get the basics out of the way: 🥇 I’m potty trained (no indoor surprises, promise!), vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and I sleep like a champ in my crate at night. I’m a big fan of small dogs—they’re my kind of party crew. We chase, we fetch, we vibe. Big dogs? Meh. I like to keep them in check like a tiny hall monitor 🎟️ with a badge. And kids? Let’s just say I prefer a more mature crowd who won’t try to ride me like a pony. I strut my stuff on a leash like I’m walking a runway, and I’m always up for a good stroll.

It is time for this sweet old lady 👵🏻 to have her very own forever home.

Coraline is well crate trained and potty trained 🏆 . She prefers to be an only dog, but doesn’t seem to mind cats at all. She is a better fit with families who have older kids or no kids. It’s hard being an old lady set in her ways and needing adoption. We are open to finding an adopter outside of Texas. We don’t typically do this, but with the special needs listed above we are making an exception. 🗣️Please share this post to help us find her forever family 🏠

🐾 Remember Nestor? He needs us now more than ever. 💔

This sweet boy was found as a stray after being hit by a car. When we saw his condition, we knew we had to act fast — and thanks to one of our incredible fosters, we were able to get him out of the shelter and into safety.

What we found broke our hearts:
🩺 His tail was nearly torn off
🦴 His shoulder blade is broken
🆘 He was emaciated, covered in fleas, and in too much pain to walk
🌾 His coat was matted with burrs — likely on his own for quite some time

Nestor is now safe, but his road to recovery will be long. He’ll need frequent vet visits, pain management, and a lot of TLC.

💚 If you’re able, please consider donating toward his medical care. Every little bit helps us give Nestor the second chance he deserves.
