Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels

Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels was born out of a passion to give the voiceless a voice HRRA services Collin and Dallas counties in Texas.

Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels (HRRA) is a 501c3 Non-Profit animal tracking and trapping service. It was born out of my passion to give the voiceless strays a voice and to reunite missing pets with their family. After years of freelancing in the trapping world, the demand has dramatically increased as people realize a service like this exists. Outside areas of North Texas will be considered bas

ed on case load. HRRA provides tracking of potential sightings, mapping analysis of the area lost, surveillance with game cameras, live cameras and feeding stations. In addition, capture/trapping techniques are used once they are approaching the feeding station on a regular basis. Each dog is different so we work to condition them to get past their fears and analyze a way to capture them safely and securely. We also aim to help educate the community about dog behavior and how it changes when a dog goes into "Fight or Flight" mode. How we as humans react can make all the difference in saving an animals life.

We want to recognize a company that faced a difficult situation head on and not only SAID something BUT DID SOMETHING. Thank you for standing up to animal cruelty and stepping out in front of this.

❤️OPERATION POLAR BEAR PUPDATE❤️

We finally have eyes on our last lone Polar Bear! After getting permission from land owners and setting up cameras, we finally have him eating and have found his path! A plan is in motion to introduce a trap but we want to make sure it's strategically placed so he'll just go in.

We still need help with getting an open kennel at Balch Springs Animal Services & Adoption Center who is full at this time. They have many wonderful adoptable dogs and dogs that can be pulled for rescue. We'd like to get this boy as soon as possible but without a kennel open, we will have delay trapping.

Keep praying for progress. Anyone that knows us, knows we DO NOT leave any dog behind. He deserves to see his family again and be loved.

We're coming baby boy. We promise you!❤️🐕

❤️OPERATION POLAR BEARS PUPDATE❤️

Gathering the HRRA team and the ACO'S and friends at Balch Springs Animal Control at 9am this morning as the Polar Bears waited around us, we prepared for capture. It didn't take long as they were hungry and we had fresh meat bought from the market that they hung around. Three of them walked in at 9:08am and as I hit the release remote i realized it was malfunctioning although I checked it last night. I slowly walked up to the trap and tripped it manually 😬. They were used to me so they didn't run when I approached. Two males and one female down. Two to go.

The 3rd male approached a little while later but a gunshot in the neighborhood startled him and he took off to the property with mama where they hang out at night. Mama was captured at 11:29am but the last male stayed away.

Sadly there were two other loose dogs that were crossing the main street in front of cars. A black and white male pitty that we were able to getting back into the neighborhood and then a female husky. We were able to capture the husky by hand but now we have a dilemma. Balch Springs Animal Services & Adoption Center has limited space and only had enough room for the 5 Polar Bears. We weighed the options and made the decision to take the husky into the shelter given she is female and I could not find a spay scar or a tattoo. The chance of her getting pregnant or being pregnant is high so it was a decision made by the team. The last thing we wanted to see was another dog hit by a car which we sadly found getting to the scene this morning.

The husky has now taken up the kennel space that our last male Pyrenees is to go in so we are calling for help in adoptions or rescue pulls from Balch Springs AS so we can finally bring in the last Pyrenees to join his family. We will give him time to decompress after being startled but will not give up on him.

Prayers that his kennel opens back up and he goes back in the trap. We are not ones to give up so we'll get you baby boy.

We are grateful to our team and friends at BSAS for being on call for this huge case. It takes a village and we've got one of the best!

Trappings like these take a lot of resources and planning. Please consider donating to

Balch Springs Animal Shelter to help with the care of the Pyrenees or to Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels so we may continue fighting for the voiceless.

🚨OPERATION POLAR BEARS🚨

Our trap is up for the 5 big babies and we have set a capture time but for the safety of our crew and the dogs we are not disclosing that.

It is important that people please stay clear of the trapping area and not feed the dogs. These dogs are well fed and we have taken measures to accommodate what they like to eat to motivate them to eat in the trap.

🛑TRAPPING IS A PROCESS. We just had a gentlemen approach the trap and complain how we 🤬 expected to keep them in there with the door open. We are not aiming to trap them at this moment. Only to condition them to go in so we can get as many of them at one time. We are monitoring the trap and see in all directions. Our signs clearly ask for people to stay clear and do not approach.

Please respect what we are trying to accomplish with these beautiful babies. We are a fully volunteer non-profit and this is on top of our day jobs and family.
