That’s a wrap on our FINAL group class of the season! 🎉

In our third and final session, we focused on reinforcing everything we’ve learned throughout March—recall, loose-leash walking, engagement, and managing reactivity.

This class was filled with first-time dogs and owners navigating the challenges of training in an outdoor environment, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone’s progress! Each participant left with valuable handouts and continued support from me.

Recap of second March Manners Group Class 🤩

We started out with focus games, transitioned to the basics of recall and energy with leash walking!!

For many of these dogs it’s their first time training in a group session like this. It fills my heart with so much joy to be apart and support my clients through these moments.

Group classes can serve so many positive purposes for your dog, like socializing, practicing known behaviors and working through problems together!

Week 1 of of March Manners Group Class 🤩🐶👏🏽

We had a blast!!

I’m sooo grateful for everyone that came out.

On Saturday, we had a beautiful group class session. We practiced keeping their dog’s attention on them around distractions, building focus, counterconditioning and desensitization!

The best thing about Saturdays class is the confidence we built together! Some dogs and owners were skeptical at first but by the end of class had the tools to self regulate & understand why their dogs were all feeling anxious.

We also learned the value of different treats! Higher value treats make a HUGE difference in high distraction areas.

There was 2 dogs there that have never been on a leash around this many dogs and they did absolutely amazing!!🤩

The biggest takeaway from Saturday should be that everyone’s success looks different. Celebrate the small wins! 👏🏽

It fills my heart with so much joy being able to share my love for dogs with the kids today!

I saw sooo many mini veterinarians today (which is amazing!) and hopefully I opened their mind to more fields in the industry.

I’m so happy to be a part of moments like these!
